Olivier, Karine and Sir Scott (the doggie) were fantastic hosts. The breakfasts were terrific and Karine provided all of us guests with great tips as to where to spend our days and nights. The pool area was wonderful and included a common kitchen area where we, the guests, could store some food, make some meals and just act like we're home. The location of our chambre d'hotes was ideal in terms of driving to a variety of villages. Highly recommend this Bastide...guest can even walk to a very scenic aqueduct right nearby. We were there in a heatwave and I did not realize that the room we had chosen was not equipped with air conditioning. (Somehow missed that in the booking) ... though I can understand that in normal circumstances this particular room would remain cool given its location in the house, but this was an exceptionally warm week. That said, Karine provided us with a room ventilator from another location in the house which made everything so much better. So really nothing to complain about. Outstanding visit.

Not a very warm welcome.

We liked hosts very much - welcoming and understanding. They shared some useful information and tips about the surroundings and were able to speak English and share a small talk. Please respect the check-in time stated by the property (17:00-19:00) and put some effort in learning some phrases in French :) Property has a very good pool and fully equipped summer kitchen for moments when/if you fancy cooking one evening instead of going to nearby towns for dinner. We liked everything.

Beautiful provencal stone house, very clean rooms, lovely spot for breakfast, very friendly and helpful owners Karine and Olivier. La Bastide des Arts was so comfortable that as if we were at our own house. There is a swimming pool and and a fully equipped kitchen by the pool where you can enjoy your time. I fully recommend for this place if you are planning to go L’isle sur la Sorgue and around. Thanks for your hospitality.

Whilst we needed a car to get there it was a stunningly beautiful area with lots to see and do. Our hosts were so welcoming and couldn't do enough for us including remembering little things like how I liked my coffee. The facilities were beautiful- we loved the history of the old building. Would return in a heartbeat There was nothing we didn't like- I'd just say that there are steps to the top floor accomodation and it was an hour drive from Marseille airport but so well worth it!

Very lovely staff (they are super helpful, give great restaurant tips and all around care to make your stay superb). It is a very nice old building (with the original tiling which is beautiful) with a large pool. Location is great, very close to a couple of gorgeous little towns and generally very quiet area. Unfortunately, the rooms definitely are not sound proof and the doors to the rooms are not (air)tight, there is sound and light leaking through. If you don't like dogs, beware: they have two super cute, lovely family dogs, but they roam the building and grounds freely.

Lovely boutique hotel in a private location (accessible by car). Close to Sorgue /Vaucluse and other interesting towns in the region Late check in! 5 pm but understand this is becoming more the norm in Europe.

Typical Provence style House in a high modernized standard. Great pool area. Fantastic homemade breakfast. Karine was the best possible landlady. Nothing all perfect.

We stayed here for 10 days with our 12 month old and could not have asked for a better setting to relax and explore the region. The breakfast with home made spreads is fantastic. The spaces are all clean, beautifully maintained, and peaceful. Karine and Olivier are wonderful hosts and create a friendly, inviting atmosphere for all of their guests. Would recommend!
