Hotel San Gabriel

Quarto bem espaçoso e limpo. Hotel perto de ótimos restaurantes e da avenida Paulista. Foram flexíveis no checkout, o que ajudou bastante. Existe estacionamento no local, mas achei um pouco caro. Poderia estar incluso na estadia ou ser um pouco mais barato.

Great location, clean room, polite and friendly staff . The breakfast was delicious. The decoration of the room has a decadent and worn out appearance. I felt as if I had returned back to the 70s, in a bad way

The location is very good. The breakfast is well served, fresh and good. Staff did their best. The rooms were very noisy. My room had a strong loud noise not coming from the street, but from some structural problem. Also, the arrangement was bad, as the small chair and table didn't fit with the bed.

Breakfast was a huge selection of savoury and sweet. The location was perfect for me, 4 blocks to Avenida Paulista and restaurants, supermarket steps away. Several shopping malls a few blocks away if you are into shopping or need anything. Road a bus direct from Gru to one block from hotel for 47 Brl, took taxi from hotel to Congohas for 80 Brl. A bit noisy on weekend nights due to bar activity so I used earplugs at night. Hot water and pressure excellent. Staff helpful. I would stay here again. The bed was very comfy.

The location is outstanding, 3 blocks from Av Paulista in a charming neighborhood. The rooms are simple, but clean, comfortable, efficiently arranged, and very reasonably priced. The breakfast is very good. If you're looking for a safe and comfortable no-frills, economical hotel in one of the best locations in Sao Paulo, Hotel San Gabriel is for you. I have no complaints

The hotel is in a nice location near Paulista Avenue that felt safe and had many restaurants/bars near by. The rooms don't have any sound proofing. You can hear everything that is happening in the streets through the night, as the hotel is right next to an alley with bars. The room was also very loud from the inside. The ceiling fan made a very loud noise when it was on, when people in other rooms used the shower you could hear a screeching noise coming from the pipes of the building. All these resulted in very poor sleeping conditions. We did ask the reception to change rooms and they were helpful even though the communication in English was difficult. The new room was still very loud but the ceiling fun was on good condition. Overall, the reception has been clearly renovated but the rooms are very old and have problems that would come with any old building.

We had already experience the wonderful breakfast and the very good location, not far from the Avenida Paulista.

I stayed in this hotel multiple times over a period of 6 years. The staff is always helpful and very friendly. The rooms are small, but you feel safe and comfortable. The location is perfect, even for long walks towards jardin. Two blocks away (in oppsite directions) are two very big shopping malls. The breakfast is well-prepared, unlimited papaya and other sweet and savory stuff!

Breakfast was very good. Staff was particularly nice. They changed my room to a quieter side of the hotel which I appreciated. Cleaning ladies are great! Wifi is good. The location is excellent -- two shopping malls nearby, plentiful restaurants and cafes. It's a happening area. They have bidet sprayers, this is very nice to have in the bathroom. I wish they had CNN or such news channels on their TVs.

clean, simple comfortable room. Nice staff. Best breakfast offering I've seen in Brazil so far. Close to avenida Paulista. Bars and food at your doorstep Nothing to speak of.
