Unique hill top vibes, good location Mountain view room

True Italian dream. Most peaceful part of the trip which was much needed after losing luggage and flights. Could have stayed longer for sure! Difficult without a car and costly (30euro) to taxi from train or ferry.

La vista e la location.

Very friendly and helpful staff throughout the hotel. Genuinely interested in ensuring everything was OK and to your satisfaction. Good size room and well equipped bathroom. Very cold fridge in room a bonus. Excellent breakfast with good variety of options

The hotel and setting are beautiful, with lovely views. We had a great room with a large balcony. We were there for four nights, a few days relaxation, aiming to spend most of the time at the hotel. Unfortunately, when we went to book our evening meal, following the instructions on the information about the hotel we arrived, we were told the restaurant was closed until 1st May. No apology, and said as if it should have been obvious. This meant no lunch was available either. I can’t find any reference to this anywhere on their website or the description of the hotel here. I wouldn’t have booked the place otherwise. It really wasn’t the experience I thought I’d booked.

Lovely period small hotel with a fantastic view from our room to the town and the Mediterranean beyond. Very friendly and helpful staff, excellent breakfast and simple but good facilities.

Good Big hills to get back to hotel from beach

This is a gem of a hotel. Located slightly out of town, the views from our sea facing room were spectacular. The rooms are comfortable, clean and a good size. Staff are lovely and looked after us well. I would be happy to visit again. As mentioned, the hotel is slightly out of town on a hill. It's ok to walk down, but a steeper climb to come back. I would recommend using the hotel shuttle bus and/or local taxi

We attended a wedding there and what can I say, the venue was so beautiful, fantastic views and lots of outdoor space. The food was great with a vast selection of breakfast and lunch choices. The staff was so helpful especially the tall waiter ( I didn't get his name!) who looked after us so well! Very comfortable beds, spoessly clean, and a lift was available. It's a steep walk back from the town but worth it for the views! They also provide a shuttle every 30 minutes. We loved everything about our stay! Nothing!

The view was phenomenal!! The pool area could have been a little more well taken care of.

Lovely breakfast - everything that you could want; egg and bacon, fresh fruit of many varieties, fresh pastries etc Lovely pool - but even better beaches. No need for a car, as the location is perfect walking distance to everything. Very, very friendly and helpful staff. My thanks to Francesco, Domenico (?)(helping me with the bus!), Antonio (forevever ferrying me around!) and all the lovely, lovely staff! Nothing.

I had a problem with my car and they volunteered to help me. They have been great at all times. The staff is very attentive and the atmosphere is very family-like. It has been a wonderful experience staying at the hotel. The visits are splendid.

The pool area, and property surroundings in general, could have been a little more tidy.

Breakfast selection was OK. Cereals, bacon, scrambled eggs and loads of cakes?? etc. Good coffee, (when it was available!). Lunch and dinner restaurant menu and food quality was first class. Loved the view from the sea facing balcony. Air con was very efficient and automatically controlled room temperature. Nice powerful shower. Bar staff very friendly and efficient but had to use call bell to get served. The shuttlebus was useful but almost essential given the long steep incline back from the seafront. Pool area management was OK, making sure people didn't "hog" the sun loungers. A "do not disturb/please clean room" card would have been helpful both to us and to the cleaners. Some form of additional seating in the room other than the single upright dining type chair would have been nice. although room size might prevent it. Couldn't find any English TV channels, (maybe a bonus point though!). The walk back from town/seafront which we did a few times because it was outside shuttlebus scheduled times. The bus schedule seemed to be run for the drivers convenience rather than the hotel guests. It finished at 7 pm which was a deterrent to eating in the town. (A cynic might say this was to force guests to use the hotel restaurant). Pool sun loungers and umbrellas were a bit "tired" and being a back sufferer I found them most uncomfortable. A few upright chairs would have been nice.. The pool didn't seem to have any depth markers and it catches you out the first time when you find the pool deepens quite suddenly halfway along! Had to ask too often for breakfast coffee jug to be filled.
