Super clean and great location! Price is right and would stay again! Easy parking too!

We’ve stayed at this hotel multiple times before and once we knew we were gonna spend some time in Santa Cruz again this was our choice. Khaya was very helpful as always and responded to our needs, whether that was extra towels, notification when our room was ready (we arrived early), or an extra key when needed. This is a great location close to the Santa Cruz wharf and main beach with a hot tub to relax in after a long day in the sun.

We loved the cute little bungalows! It was so awesome to have a full size refrigerator! That was really a nice surprise! The wonderfully amazing girl at check in on Friday the 31st was super friendly and helpful! The breakfast room had everything I wanted!!!!! It was only a few minute walk to the beach boardwalk. Perfect for a family of 6. The icing on the cake was the private patio w your own table and chairs!!!! This place was a 10/10 for our family. I found the price to be lower than expected for something so close to the boardwalk! We’ve tried all the other hotels within walking distance of the boardwalk and this one is by far our family’s favorite! We do an annual family trip every year and we will never stay anywhere else!!!!!!!

Location and friendly staff were the best parts. Perfect short walk to beach and boardwalk. The hotel is a good 2 star. Not fancy but still great. Celeste and her staff were so friendly!

Location Breakfast wasn't bad but maybe could've been better.

We went to Santa Cruz to participate in the annual Wharf to Wharf. We had a large group and rented 5 rooms. The staff was very accommodating, our party arrived at different times and even though the reservation was in my name, the staff worked with those who arrived earlier and later than I. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable and the fact that they have rooms with three beds came in handy with our large party. The location is great. A short walk to the Santa Cruz Boardwalk. And also a short walk to a convenience store and taco shop. This is the second time we stay here and we will come back.

The property was close to the boardwalk &beach!!! They did not charge for parking so that’s a plus! There was free coffee, juice, pastries, and waffles for breakfast. The girl in the front lobby was super sweet and was willing to check us in 1 hr early!! Housekeeping also came and picked up and gave us fresh towels, that was so sweet cause some places don’t do that unless you request. I will say the beds are a little hard but I mean that’s only thing that I could think of. Other than that it was great for the price!

When I registered the lady was very nice. She accommodated me with what I asked for. Breakfast wasn’t what I expected.

I loved that it was close enough to the boardwalk to walk there. The spa area could use some updating-maybe get chairs high enough to reach the tables.

Beautiful views of the beach & neighborhood! Cozy and a lovely little back porch. I picked this room specifically and it was lovely. It was close to the road so it could be noisy but it worked for us!

View was amazing!

AWESOME location!! The room was super clean and the AC worked great. Complimentary breakfast was a plus. Overall would stay here again! I could hear any noise outside by the stairs throughout the night.

Overall my family and I had a great experience at the HoJo, the room was clean the spa was nice. The location was excellent. How ever when we went to eat breakfast the bread box had gnats that flew out. Other than that the experience was amazing.

I was just trying to call to ask about check in but no one ever answered the phone
