The staff were so nice and always asking how we were doing. They gave us recommendations and tips on navigating the area. It was in a really good location with good food in close walking distance.

Location Staff didn’t meet my expectations. I had to ask for housekeeping. Asked for extra sheets for the pullout bed and the front desk staff made me feel as if I was “sneaking” a 3rd guest. If you want top notch customer service, look elsewhere

It’s clean, comfortable and very close to our meeting place. There is really nothing to not like about the place

The view was perfect! Loved the location with nearby groceries, restaurants, bars. Very clean.

The location was very convenient. The room was spacious and clean. Beds were very comfortable. I didn't like that they don't allow more than 4 guest oer room even though there was enough space and beds to accommodate more. Although it was helpful to have a kitchen, the cook top was weak and very slow to cook on. I was also slightly disappointed by the beach. It was full of seaweed, was stinky, and not enjoyable.
-
Location if you want to be in San Pedro! Smelly from sea grass which is common in San Pedro! Aged, smell, shower pressure!

Location and staff were exceptional. Room view was awesome! Beds were really soft, bathrooms a bit tight

Central to everything. Staff are all wonderful. I didn’t like the sargassum seaweed but that isn’t the property’s fault. They tried very hard to keep on top of removal.
-
And then the security guard letting random drunk people up to the hotel room at 2:30 at night to beat on the door even though it was no one in our room. SCARY!
-
I liked that the property had night security, Mr. Smith was very helpful to both me and my daughter providing information from grocery shopping, dining and sightseeing and being sure that we were safe upon entering at the building at night. Nothing

If you’re looking for a place close to shops and restaurants this is it. Friendly staff, clean and comfortable rooms.

Being right on the beach with a morning sunrise was amazing. Its location in the center of everything was perfect for walking. The beach was not the best due to boat traffic and seaweed but we knew that going in. It was sometimes noisy from beach goers and dogs barking but that's also to be expected. We moved to another highly rated resort for a few nights at the end of our stay just for a change of scenery, and while it was nice and had some bonuses, in hindsight I would have just stayed at the more affordable Mayan, with an amazing view and sea breezes. Can't beat that. I wished they had some kind of dressers with drawers in the unit. We wanted to settle in totally but we still had to live out of our suitcases which just felt weird, what with having what amounted to an awesome studio apartment on the beach. So, please put in some dressers for people's belongings. Then, it's no secret there is a dog barking problem with the neighboring building. We knew that going in. However it was pretty loud at times and made worse by the echo of the buildings. It would seem the Mayan could look into ways to install some kind of sound proofing to minimize the impacts of the neighbors. We just turned up our white noise machines and were able to tolerate it. We considered this in the price and location and decided it was worth taking the chance, and it was.
-
Great location, and very friendly staff, directly on the beach, wonderful sea views, with plenty to explore and lots of shops all within walking distance, one of the ferry terminals is 100ft away and the other a 10 min walk, SPD airport is a ten minute walk, Internet is a little slow especially when everyone is on the net work
-
Central location which was walking distance to a variety of restaurants. Beautiful ocean view that was very relaxing. Staff were very helpful and friendly

Superb
-
Convenient kitchen, comfortable bed, lovely view, very well located and helpful staff A bit old and mosquitoes in the room
-
Plenty of places to eat and at reasonable price within walking distance. Don’t need to rent a golf cart to get around unless you want to. Everything is close. If you drink prices are cheap. Staff was very friendly and room was clean and comfortable. Door to balcony wouldn’t close good and leaked air.

The beachfront is very crowded and the water is ordinary

Very friendly staff, excellent location, very well appointed and clean rooms.
