Red Roof Inn San Marcos

Basic hotel was clean and employees were nice. Overall good to just sleep and bisic continental breakfast, does by bnot have much to eat.

Traffic noise too loud, we could not sleep at night. A.c. was not working properly, very humid in the room. The beds were hard. Continental breakfast not good.

Great stay for overnight coming from the San Marcos river

Everything was clean

The room was super hot AC was off and the beds had hairs and there were bugs on the floor. The restroom smelled ugly. Will never stay again I wish I could get my refund.

Hotel reaked of Pot. Was hot and muggy in the lobby and hall ways. Handicap room was the furthest room from the entrance making for the furthest walk to carry in items. Bedding had period stains on it, and the bathroom/shower area was not very clean. Finger prints left on all the bed/night stands. TV didnt work, phone was not working in the room. The back/side entrance was a narrow alleyway that was behind a dumpster making it where you could even see the parking lot. Not a safe exit to use at night which was dumb because that's where they decided to put the handicapped rooms also. Just felt and smelled dirty and like a Marijuana party at this hotel. Would never stay here again. We didn't even stay the 2nd night, we left the next day even tho we had paid for two nights. 0 out of 10 stars. Would NOT recommend. Location was great, everything else about it was NOT good.

The room was very clean and they came every day to give new towels and empty the trash. The property is small but very quiet and close to everything.

Staff, room, and location was nice! The breakfast didn't match the pictures which happened to be a big part of why we chose that hotel.

Very nice friendly staff would recommend 100% if you have a big family like mine loved it

Breakfast was poor, location good Things in the room needed to be repaired.

The price and the proximity to what we wanted was good. Breakfast was disappointing. Not much choice and the waffle mix that was provided was watered down. Shampoo/ Conditioner and body wash came out so little at a time and was very thin. We ended up going out and buying our own. Condition of hotel itself, doors and walls, was aged and rundown.

Pet friendly, nice staff that allowed us to check in early. Best of all no hidden fees no deposit required and was allowed to pay cash. Will return when visiting again.

The furniture is falling apart and I had to listen to non stop barking for 5 hours. I get it’s pet friendly but that was horrible.
