This property is near perfect. I stayed in a king room with a balcony. I did not book an ocean view but my room was on 2nd floor over looking the pool and the ocean. Balcony is a small juliet balcony with 2 chairs and table and so cute. The room is fresh, modern, upscale. The best perk at this hotel in my opinion is the on-site beach rental. They are affordable, flexible and soo convenient. Breakfast and coffee is ok but there's amazing coffee 2 blocks away and plenty of restaurants around. I would stay here again no hesitation.

The complimentary breakfast was great and the location and view of the ocean is even better. The rooms are super cute, clean, comfortable.

The security was great, always someone on site to make sure things were monitored as well as main doors being locked during night hours where you would have to use your room key to gain access to the hotel. Thank you for helping make our vacation a great one!

Location was top notch for ocean view and access. Staff friendly and available. We took advantage of discounts offered for beach gear. Included breakfast was convenient and we thoroughly enjoyed the pool and hot tub multiple times a day. If we had one minor complaint it would be that we could hear our neighbors next door. Not a big deal as we were not inside often. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Thank you!

Right on the beach minutes from restaurants and pacific beach pier where you get the best sunset view. Was modern and staff was excellent. The complimentary breakfast was good and includes make your own Belgium waffles which is always a plus! Get the oceanfront room it’s worth the money. I don’t have any complaints about this property.

Location is great. Nice property. Helpful staff.

Expect to pay a lot for your room and to park your car in their underground garage. It is nice to be right on the beach and to have a pool and hot tub though. Their breakfast is average (juices, fruit, cereal, bagels, toast, eggs, bacon, sausage or waffles) but their coffee is scalding hot and not good. There are local coffee shops nearby that are so much better. They provide robes and beach towels in your room to use and there is a coffee maker we never used. They also offer water in your room at $3 a bottle. We were in room 212 and had an issue with hot water. It takes a long time to get hot water in the shower (there is no tub) which is such a waste of water! The staff is very nice in the breakfast room, the lobby desk, the housekeeping staff and the maintenance staff. The sunsets were amazing from the beach and there are many restaurants close by but an added surcharge on every restaurant adds up fast and no one could explain why we had to pay one. Overall, we had a nice week away but it was expensive.

Great location! Right next to the beach and within walking distance of restaurants, shops and stores. The free breakfast is a nice start to the morning. The underground parking garage is a tight squeeze but safe. Rooms are updated too. Will definitely stay here again.

We stayed at the Ocean Park in for a week during the first week of August 2026. We had been to Pacific Beach before but had never stayed at this property. It did not disappoint! The room was small (ocean front King), but it met our needs. It is clean; however, the AC did not seem to be functioning (we were not sure if it was just our room since the entire property seemed to need better AC) properly. No matter how low were turned the thermostat, the air was not cold. However, San Diego is cool in the evenings, so we opened the sliding doors which cooled the room. The screen on the sliding door was coming apart from the door frame. There are really no bugs to worry about so it wasn't a huge issue, but it did need addressed. Otherwise, the room was very clean. The room fridge looks small but it actually holds quite a lot! The hot breakfast was very good! Lots of choices including fresh Belgian waffles, scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, bacon, toast, bagels, a variety of cereals and juices. We also really enjoyed our free newspaper! The location is IDEAL - near the main lifeguard station on Pacific Beach (between stand 24 and 25). Lots of shops and restaurants in the area within easy walking distance! Parking is adequate but a bit pricey at 35 dollars a night. The balcony is small but we loved sitting out and looking at passersby, the pier and the beachfront! We would definitely stay at this property again!

The location is fantastic! Smack in the middle of everything, 2 seconds and you are on the beach. A ton of places to eat and drink. Rooms are fresh and comfortable. Breakfast in the morning and then you’re off on adventures. Staff were awesome and on point. They ensure your stay is comfortable.

Even though our check in was delayed due to housekeeping, we loved the upgrade to an ocean view room. The room was well lit, well maintained rooms, the beds were really comfortable. I traveled with my special needs young adult and it was a wonderful stay for us. We loved the access to the beach, the pool was great for all of us, there were pool and beach towels available to us everyday, we loved having a supermarket near by. We can't wait to go back!

Everything about it was perfect. Absolutely beautiful view. Extremely worth it

The rooms were cute and the hotel was cute. They did a good job remodeling it. The location. Was a little scary at night and huge party scene. Loud loud music all night long. You could hear it with the doors and windows closed. If you wanted to sleep at all, you definitely needed your plugs. Also, it felt pretty scary at night.
