Breakfast and staff excellent

The kindness and openness of the Staff really makes it a fantastic location The beds where hard

The entire hotel, especially the common areas, such as the lounge, gave off a charmingly old world atmosphere while providing all the modern comforts. Less impressive but still ok was the breakfast buffet selection for those who don't like to get up at the crack of dawn.

Location could not have been better. Breakfast was pretty good. They offered a lot of options. Only thing missing were eggs, but really you could not complain because there was plenty to eat There was a gentleman at the desk who doesn’t know how to be friendly, but everyone else was!

The location. Cleanses, friendly staff. A thoughtful gift bag for our doggie. We didn't appreciate being downgraded to a smaller room with a small bathroom and shower for our last night. Even if we booked and paid for a bigger double room, we could barely move between the furniture in that small triple room. When we thought it was a technical problem (and for the same room and facilities we paid for), it appeared that we were moved because the room had been promised to someone else who requested it.

Amazing location. Best large balcony enjoy sunrise and sunset. Right on sea. Beautiful classic colonial old style hotel in very good shape. Parking easy out front due to not tourist season yet - in May. Breakfast included was ok - few guests so we understand you couldn’t have lots variety and hot food like our other stays that were busier hotels. Staff was indifferent. You need to approach them with all and any questions. - then they responded. Not bad - just different than our other stays I Italy. Overall. Great place and we would come back. Many restaurants - only some open due to season. So e fish restaurants o. Water were amazing. Some nice little cantinas great for lunch 5-10 min walk. I make my decisions largely based on reviews - I would choose here again. See above

Pleasant atmosphere. Comfortable room. Cheerful staff on the whole. Very clean. Unfortunately a couple of noisy night-clubs in the area. Some sort of control should be carried out, or put a time limit to events.

There was much to like but I particularly appreciated the care that was shown for my dog who received her own little welcome pack. Otherwise, the location was perfect, opposite the beach. Breakfast catered for all tastes. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. And we were each given delightful posters on our departure - which will definitely be framed and hung on my wall! The only thing which could have improved my stay would have been better tea and coffee making facilities but really that wasn't an issue.

Good location, very close to the sea and many restaurants The rooms and the hotel in general are very old fashioned. The bathroom was new-ish but the room felt very dated. There was no duvet sheet cover but a simple sheet and wool blanket. Not hygienic and not what you would expect in a 4 stars hotel

This is an hystorial place in San Benedetto del Tronto located in one of the most beautiful walkable point of the lungomare street. The hotel Progresso since I was a kid, was considered very elegant for this part of the Adriatic coast standard, which are in general not so high if you compare with other locations. Anyway, we have the breackfast included and I was very disappointed because there was a very little amount of pieces of everything. We travel on the second week of September and it seems that they was close by to end the season, so the sensation was that we was finishing the leftovers. Forniture style it could be done much better because the actual result is a kind of a bazaar.

Location is opposite of beach and quite close to city center and train station The ladies from reception were very helpful and gave us lots of information When we arrived the guy at the reception was not friendly and didn't gave us any information. Even we had to ask for the breakfast time.. not even a welcome word..

Breakfast super. Croissants good, some salami, tea, and prunes done just right. Plenty of other options, just not of interest to me.

Nice hotel with character across the beach. Walking distance from restaurants and nice city center. Rooms with high ceilings, excellent bed and very clean. Breakfast was satisfactory. Staff very friendly. Only thing I missed was a little more atmosphere in the closed veranda facing the road/beach. Would be nice and inviting to sit if decorated with plants, flowers and paintings/posters on walls. But is definitely a place to come back to!
