Yellow Moon Guesthouse Apartments

For the price, Yellow Moon is exceptional. The hospitality of Mr. Taga and the rest of the crew was a highlight of my time in Colombia. The gorgeous view from the balcony of the ocean and palm tress, accessibility to the small beach right in front, and hammocks in the yard for chilling made for a lovely stay. It is central to many local shops, beaches, and eateries (Mr. Taga will tell you the best places!) It is easy to catch a collectivo to the more touristy north area, and then nice to come back to a more chill location For the price I can't complain about anything

Only good thing was the sea front Location is far from the center, The room was extremely small, there was not even space for my thoughts, the AC tower is almost on the bed and it was very noisy, but if is off was extremely hot, so I couldn’t sleep, also the mosquito were terrible. I stayed only one night out of 4 that I reserved then I went somewhere else, they didn’t even care to ask why

Great location and the staff is so friendly and welcoming

Mr. Taga makes you feel at home from the first minute, always willing to share his food and stories with you and help you with everything. The room is basic but fine with everything you need. I loved the balcony with hammock and seaview, I could have stayed there forever. Sleeping with the sound of waves is fantastic. The beach in front is cute, no beach for a whole day, but great for swimming in the morning to get awake or for a couple of hours in the afternoon. If you go there, please take Mr. Taga for a swim ;-). The mattress was too soft for my bag and I had some problems finding food for dinner, which is no fast food.

The best part of staying in Yellow Moon is that you have a beautiful beach in front of the apartments. It’s like a little private beach that you can enjoy early in the morning or late at night. Another good thing is Mr Taga, the host. He is very kind and helped us the entire trip. Honestly, I enjoyed everything. I have no complaints.

Two things I like the most one is the customer service by Mr. Hudson is unbelievable( no price ) he will do the best so you can feel comfortable . This is not a 5 hotel it is very basic hotel but his customer service made up the rest !!! He will help in everything is posible in all type of budget from transportation, where to eat to even with the tours he will give the best people . For that and more I thank you so much ! Also the property is a front beach … very few properties have a front beach on the inland …. I slept with the doors opened without any problems during the day or the nights !!!!! This review is from a person who has traveled in lot of countries around the world Mr. Hudson carisma is one of the best I have ever encounter.!it came from his heart nothing else !!!!! No Ac on the units but I think one unit has Ac

Close to beach * good for triathlete workouts * safe environment * close,to resturants. Mr Taga wealth of information. All good

Perfect location with a very friendly host ?

Great view of the sea from the room with a non crowded private beach. Very calm and quiet place. The owner and staff were very helpful and friendly. The internet was a bit slow, but it was ok, and we were happy for even having internet on an island.

The staff was very friendly and even gave us mangoes when welcoming us. We had a beautiful view of the sea from our room. The room was unfortunately not clean. The bedding was clearly not washed as it smelled quite bad and had hair on it…

Taga was absolutely amazing ! He was so nice , always giving good recommendations and making sure I was safe as I was travelling one ! I wish every hotel owner was like him! It was all good, verry good value for the price

The view is amazing and the garden out the front is lovely. The majority of the staff were really kind. The beach has quite a lot of debris floating in it. I found the host increasingly interfering, inconsistent and demanding.
