Townend Farm Bed and Breakfast

Everything. Julie and Iain were the perfect hosts and were very helpful and kind. They provided a comfortable stay and the best breakfast we have ever had. The room was very clean and we had beautiful views too. It was a great location to travel up and down the coastline by car, by bus and even walking on the Cleveland Way. We wish we could have stayed longer ;)

All that was offered was of the most excellence that one could wish for, from the room to the amazing breakfast. The brilliant location!!! (opposite Pub!!!) plus bus stop on the doorstep!! Because of our age and mobility restrictions, we wish all toilets in all locations Hotels, B n Bs etc could be like ours at home!!! 3ins higher than normal!!!. It makes a world of difference!!

Very welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable hosts. Lovely views from the very clean and well-appointed room. Lots of thoughtful little touches. Excellent breakfast, with plenty of choice to suit all tastes. Great location, well-placed for visiting a wide area. Bus stop right outside, good bus service. We loved everything!

The location, ideal for visiting North York Moors and Whitby. The Hostess Julie ,who went out of her way to make you feel at home and her full English Breakfast, cooked to perfection by her. Nothing

The host could not do enough for us and made the stay feel like a home from home, the property is spotless with lots of character, the views are beautiful, breakfast was lovely and even though we booked very last minute all dietary requirements were more than catered for, amenities are plenty and the travel connections to Whitby, Middlesborough and other Easy Coast destinations are fantastic.

Julie and Ian were the perfect hosts! Such a warm, friendly, family run B&B. We felt right at home. The breakfast was superb and the room was immaculate. They did not cut corners, supplying dressing gowns, slippers, and expensive Moulton Brown toiletries. It also had tee and coffer facilities and on the landing was a fridge freezer for the guests to share. Couldn't ask for anything more. It is definitely worth its rating and will remain on our list of places to stay when in the neighbourhood!

Lovely place to stay with the kindest and friendliest hosts. Great breakfast to set you up for the day. Comfy and clean bedroom with all the little touches, tea and coffee with fresh milk. Toiletries and bath robes. Nothing

The host Julie was friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. She was able to answer all out questions and gave us local knowledge about the surrounding area.

Julie couldn’t have done more for us, so many little extras all of which went to make our stay really wonderful. The breakfasts were superb. Tea, coffee, biscuits and sweets were in our room too. It was my birthday on one of the days and I was even given a card with a chocolate cake complete with candle. Nothing, it couldn’t have been better
