Le Clos du Dramont
About Le Clos du Dramont
Formerly known as the Auberge Provençale, the Le Clos du Dramont hotel has been given a new lease of life. Ideally located 10 minutes' walk from the beaches in a quiet, unspoiled cul-de-sac, it is an authentic place with cozy rooms and a warm welcome. Maxime and Andrea, the new owners since July 2025, want to preserve, embellish, and bring this authentic place to life with passion. Built in 1836, the building was first the Dramont post office before becoming a Provençal inn. Its walls have seen the 1940s, World War II, then summer vacations and the laughter of travelers. Each era has left its mark, each owner a story. Today, the hotel is turning a new page without denying its soul: formerly Auberge Provençale, it is now Le Clos du Dramont. Located near Cap Dramont and the Estérel massif, the house exudes the scent of pine trees and warm stone. You enter as if pushing open a familiar door: a characterful, intimate, and welcoming enclosure, where the same attentions are whispered as yesterday, but with a name that better reflects who we are. Here, every detail ensures tranquility, every smile tells the story of Provence. The ideal location, just a 10-minute walk from the beaches, in a quiet, secluded cul-de-sac with private parking included for our guests, makes this hotel unique. It is an authentic place with cozy rooms and a warm welcome. It offers a buffet breakfast with fresh produce to enjoy on the beautiful shaded terrace decorated with flowers.

Officially a 2-star hotel (Jul 26), the service orientation and attitude of the owners (and many other factors) were better than a five-star hotel. The terrace bar (recently designed) and food/drink offering was excellent - as evidenced by the high % of guests using it on repeated occasions (we were there all 4 evenings). Rooms are compact - but very nice (cotton sheets/selection of pillows, nice toiletries, efficient storage and washing line in window for drying) Very good continental breakfast - most guests seemed to eat there every morning. They also provided us with a picnic for our onward train journey. Secure parking. Beaches, great restaurants, excellent bakery and Spar/pharmacy within easy walking distance. Would be good to add a few more hooks for drying beach towels etc. Food/drink offering at breakfast is wider than the serving space!

This is a charming, unassuming place that turns out to be a real gem. The property is spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The personnel are very friendly and welcoming. We loved the wine terrace, and the breakfast was excellent and very well-stocked.

Very welcoming and helpful hosts. Clean and calm space, tasteful decor. Lovely rooftop terrace. Hotel within short walking distance of the bus and train station, beach and some good options for eating out. The walls are a bit thin, and there is construction work nearby (though this was not a problem while we were there). The terrace bar is delightful but prices are a bit steep.

Clean, cozy, relaxing, just feels like home and the owners are just amazing! Breakfast was perfect with homemade yogurt, cakes, fresh fruits and Nespresso coffee. The best part was the recently renewed terrace where you can enjoy a nice aperitif with sublime local wine and cheese among other choices! Just nothing, I’ve really enjoyed everything during my stay

We had a great time. The service was excellent, the staff were friendly and professional. I don’t understand why this hotel only has two stars — they deserve more.

It feels like living in the little resort in Greece. My kids love this rustic room rather than the chain hotel. The staff is very polite and cater for our every need. The price is very reasonable for this seaside area.

Nice location a short walk (5-15 mins) to some shops, restaurants and beaches. Room was clean, comfortable and air conditioning was most welcome. Nice shower. Staff friendly and efficient. Good off street parking next to the hotel. Could do with a lick of paint here and there.
-
Gorgeous hotel in a very nice location, walking distance from the beach and a spar around the corner. Staff were very friendly and welcoming, room was lovely and very clean. In the double room we had the shower was opposite the bed and not private, one thing to note if you are not travelling alone.

Quiet and clean
-
Quiet place and the terrace The room smelled like a cellar/mold, the shower curtain was torn and dirty, the towels were worn and gray, the bedding set was not changed during the entire staying (4 days/3 nights).
