Location worked for us. Noisy, so noisy especially early hours and guests just not complimentary that there were other guests staying so took no pleasure in advising them to either think what they are doing and respect others.

This location is close to Whakarewarewa, close to thermal area and bush. It suited our intentions for the night. Upstairs, and we could leave the door open, that had a balcony. The parking area is on the side of the motel, so this was a safe space. Being in a tourist spot, opposite another large motel, meant it was a busy place outside. This is not a negative, but one has to be prepared to hear/see others making use of accommodation options in the immediate area.

Room was well appointed and in decent shape. It was in need of a deeper cleaning. Kitchen cabinet handles were obviously not wiped down regularly and even the top of the toilet tank had not been cleaned. That said, sheets and towels were clean.

Clean and spacious rooms. The place is located pretty close to city center , Maori center , redwood tree walk and the beautiful kuirau park. The room had microwave, kettle and a stove, which is good to have.

The bed was so comfortable and neat, Smells nice and clean and properly washed. We sleep very well. Pillows are great smell too. The smell from toilet In the morning ia so strong. Maybe its coming from the dried leaves with water stocked from the other park.

The room was good, but not great. Initially one of the table lamps by the bed did not work. It was not connected to the wall socket. I had to have someone in reception connect the day after I arrived.

Location was great, room was tidy Limited parking, WiFi in rooms poor and kept disconnecting - the same was with the Freeview television. There is NO SPA, yet it is listed as closes at 8pm - we were not advised at check in. Walls are thin and we could hear the conversation from the room next door and the children running up and down the hallway.

Clean tidy new furniture, bedding, bathroom amenities smelt great, comfortable bed, very helpful staff The shower water went out the shower door. I needed a 2nd bath mat. I knew this for my 2nd shower so I adjusted the shower head & this didn't happen again
