American Inn Suites Detroit Metro Airport

The staff has always been extremely helpful everytime I stay here. It is my first choice of places to stay for me its quiet and convenient for what I need

Very clean.

Mattress was completely dirty as if it was left outside in the rain. Literally mud dripping off the sides of it.

When I first arrived and checked in the lady on the afternoon shift was very friendly and helpful I paid $25 for a early check in due to me having to work the room was decent I didn’t really have an opportunity to look around cause I was rushing to head back out later on when I got back I went to the restroom and noticed the toilet didn’t flush I had to fill the trash can up to make the toilet flush I tired washing my hands and the skin water wasn’t going down I had to take a cup and drain the water out into the toilet and use the tub the paint was badly chipped off the wall hanging down from the ceiling the room had a bad odor to it and there where no blankets on the beds when I went to the front desk no was available my wife & son went back twice after me and still no one was at the front desk available to help us we slept the first night without blankets and the bathroom sink being out of service my son and I went to breakfast at 6am there was nothing but 3 oatmeal packets and a slice of bread and muffins available to eat the cereal was stale as well and there was no milk we went to the front desk to see if some was available and the heavier set woman was very rude and not very hey tired telling her about the blankets and the sink and she just blew me off hours later when i got ready to leave there was to thin sheet on the floor outside my door day 3 all the power blew in my hotel room and I got moved to a room with no fridge no chair tv remote or light in the room

Been coming here for 8 years. Back when it was the Knights Inn. Proposed to my wife in the back area on the bench on bended knee. Great staff. Always helpful and accommodating. Love the remodel.

Nothing was explained to me bout they room key or the deposit jus got told I need a deposit for the room

This hotel looks nothing like the photos. The room was disgusting. Sheets were stained. Pillows suck. Bed is hard as a rock. Bathtub is all patched up. Paint peeling off alot of places in the hotel. TV didnt work. One of the front desk staff was very rude. Told us on our way to the airport she wasnt allowed to drop us off at th3 departures unless we gave her a good tip. Had we known we would of booked an Uber. 2 washcloths and 2 towels for a family when I asked for an extra for my daughter I was told no. Breakfast was cereal and always never any milk, English muffins, small muffins and boxed waffles.

Parking felt unsafe, blankets were stained, shower was disgusting, room did not look cleaned at all, curtains were broken, lamp was side ways.

Check in the person at front didn't explain how things worked so no housekeeping you have to put your trash outside of the door and the towels if you wanted clean ones you have to turned them in first to get new ones and toilet paper you have to go to the front desk and they keep your deposit for no reason when I check out my room was clean and I don't smoke and they be smoking right outside the door I thought I was going to have asthma attack, the lady at front desk was rude you try to ask something she rushing you so she go smoke, the breakfast could have been better no juice or water or meat it was the same everyday no dresser it had 2 hangers

Room was clean for the most part, beds didn’t come with a comforter, instead a small fuzzy throw blanket which was not cleaned and stunk. Towels were stained not sure if even washed. Asked staff for another blanket and more towels and she refused and said they didn’t have any extras. Don’t plan on returning to this hotel anytime soon
