The staff was fantastic. The room was spacious and very clean. Daily room cleaning and fresh towels. Difficult to locate. Location of the entrance is in an Alley with no sign at the entrance. The entrance is a heavy steel bar gate that is always locked. The building is for multiple tenants and the hotel occupies the entire 2nd floor. Even a small sign about 25cm c 25cm with the hotel name and information about being escorted in about eye level would have saved us a lot of time and confusion. It was hot.

Location was good; near one of the main streets through Rome.

Great location. Charming ambience. Safe building.
-
I did not like that there was no elevator

The property is close to everything, including a taxi stand right out front. Breakfast every morning was perfect and so delicious. The property is able to arrange airport pickup, which was great for our large group.

Quiet and Friendly !
-
Beautiful old fashioned accommodations in a perfect location with friendly staff.

Be aware that there are a lot of stairs to get to the room as it’s on the third floor. The hotel is in an alley near a major intersection. It’s remarkably quiet for the location but you may want to bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper.

Having to schlep luggage up several flights of stairs in building with no lift. Since we arrived at night there was no one there to help.
-
Also a bigger smart TV.

The rooms were amazing. We were a party of 3 women and 2 had rooms. Thomas greeted us upon our arrival and very kindly carried our luggage up the stairs and made sure we were comfortable. The owner was there each day after that. We asked to have the room cleaning skipped for one room for one night and he (the owner) seemed offended that we asked. We just had stuff everywhere. We did not mean to insinuate that we didn't trust them or anything like that. The day we left, we left an hour and a half before our train was to depart and figured we would eat breakfast at the train station. The taxi stand is literally steps from the hotel. On this day, there were no taxis and some of the streets were blocked off for a marathon. We attempted to get a taxi from the Freenow app. After a bit, a driver accepted our ride, then 15 minutes later said he could not get to us. Other cars were driving by, but ok. Next we go to the bus stop. There are a lot of people waiting. A bus never came. I went back to the hotel to ask what we should do. The owner said yes the roads are closed you will have to walk to the river to get a taxi. When we left that morning, we were struggling a bit to get our suitcases out the door and down the stairs. He (owner) did not offer to help with our bags. Our rooms are on the second floor, but the ceilings were so high that it was really like 3 stories up. He still seemed a little salty about asking to skip a cleaning?? He also did not mention anything about the road closures or the marathon. A simple comment to us as we were leaving would have been great and would have saved us hundreds of dollars. He clearly knew exactly what I was talking about when I went back. We walked a few blocks to the river and finally got our taxi. The driver was so nice, he drove as fast as he could to get us there on time. We literally ran to the platform only to watch our train depart without us. Rebooking was extremely expensive plus the money already spent on the original tickets. The rooms were great, beds comfy and Thomas was so kind.

Being centrally located was very helpful to the things we wanted to do and see while in Rome. Taxi and bus stops were basically just outside side the door. Room was clean. There is no sign on the outside of the building to confirm the hotel exists, just a small button to push to request access, and no one answers the button when pushed. We were fortunate that other guests were exiting the building when we were trying to get in. Water sprayed/leaked outside the shower glass all over the floor when shower was used.
