It's an older hotel...my wife stayed here 50 years ago as a student and had fond memories, so my 2 12 year old grandsons and I decided to try it. It is well maintained and probably refurbished since then. Despite not officially offering breakfast, they did offer a great day-starter in the basement: Coffee machine, juices, and a good selection of breads and pastries. That alone makes up for any reservations I might have had. Staff were very friendly and always available. The air conditioning worked well, and the room was plenty big for us. We walked to the Colosseum in 20 minutes (tram is unreliable and ride share slow and expensive) Several decent restaurants within 2 block walk, but DO NOT MISS Gelateria Fassi around 5-7 minute walk away (via Principe Eugenio 65-67). It was also there for my 1970's student wife who still has fond memories, which will be carried on by her grandsons. Of 4 nights in Rome, we had their gelato 3 nights. Spectacular. 130 years old in the same location. Big room, many tables. Dozens and dozens of flavors, and be sure to get the dollop of whipped cream on top (free). Back to the hotel...I recommend it for what it is: clean, friendly, modest, nice staff, convenient for that side of town, reasonable price (if anything in Rome is reasonable), and a long history! Shower head was a little weak, but we all stayed clean after days in 37c (98f) July heat. While the area was convenient to Termini station (which was important to us), the walk was a little sketchy, especially closer to the station.

The staff was really welcoming. The room was clean and comfortable. Good value especially with the free breakfast. It’s a bit of a walk to nearest train station especially during heatwave. But otherwise, I would not have minded it if not for the heat when I visited.

A nice and quite hotel. very well located. no need for more is perfect for a stay of a couple of days. it turns that the breakfasta was included. some coffe, croissants and bread and butter. No need for more indeed. You'll have more at the city want to thank specially the guy at the front desk, Avra (i hope i'm spelling fine his name) was always gentle and willed to help. As an old construction, the hotel is a bit noisy, specially when someone flushes the toilet. all the floor hears that. Apart from that, nothing to be worried or concerned about it. could back some day in future.

Neat, clean, good location for who needs access to the train station, professional, smiling and polite staff. They granted us free breakfast upon arrival. The price was very reasonable for the 1 night stay No phone, no laundry bag in the room. The beds are not that comfortable but we stayed 1 night and were so tired so we slept:) the air conditioning cannot be reduced for less than 23 degrees even if you want to, the water in the shower changes from cold to hot and vs even when you do not change anything during the shower.
