Close by to major sites to see. The Coliseum was down the street!! Walked by it several times while exploring. Great cafes and restaurants. Steep stairs to get to units. No problem for us but for my aging parents it was a concern.

1. The breakfast was good and the dining/cleaning staff were friendly and helpful. 2. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. 3. The location was good. The front desk staff were NOT friendly or helpful, infact both were quite curt and or indifferent in their attitudes. Because of the front desk staff SOLELY - I would NOT RECOMMEND this hotel to anyone.

There was a musty scent in the room at times ... not unbearable and possibly as a result of the age of the building
-
Great location! Helpful staff.
-
Our room faced the opposite side of the street and was completely quiet at night, which was surprisingly peaceful given how lively Rome is. As a result, we had a very good night's sleep.
-
The water in the sink/shower was always scalding hot - no cold or in between.

The location was excellent! Walking distance to main attractions and restaurants. The breakfast was decent- not much variety. The room was very small and the bathroom was very outdated, mould in the shower and smelt musky. But the room was clean. The price reflects the location convenience not the quality of hotel.

Hosts not that friendly

This is a nice place to stay very near the Colosseum. The noise level can be a bit bothersome for some, but it wasn't a problem for us (tip: shut the window properly and turn the A/C on).

Location of the hotel. Old hotel. Awful, small lobby with horrible mismatched furniture. Its the first thing you see and gives a poor impreasion. Our room was also old and tired looking and the bed was HORENDOUS. Like laying on bricks-- we didn't get one night of good sleep. Old, yucky bathrooms.

Location Rooms are bad , shower too dmall can't even fit

The hotel location was good and the buffet breakfast was good, however the room was extremely small, the bathroom was as well...the room lighting was bad, the bed was very uncomfortable and the bedspread was in need of washing, very dengy. The tv was too small and hung too high on the wall. The desk was extremel small and the chair cushion needed cleaning, the storage area for unpacking was limited and access to the storage the bathroom had to be closed. The flooring was in dire need of cleaning. Just by making correction to the above mentioned items.

The place is very well located, very close to the Coliseum. The staff is very friendly and they are always willing to help, they are welcoming people. The only exception was a woman who was at the reception one day, she wasn't as friendly as the other folks. If they could start serving breakfast earlier, at least one hour earlier, that would be great

The location was perfect for all the main historic sites/attractions. Breakfast was not very exciting. The same selection of food every day Served by someone that, I felt didn't want to be there.
-
It was clean and in the location I wanted. I liked everything.
-
Breakfast can be improved. No eggs
-
The breakfast was more European based which was a bit of a shock (not bad at all, just a bit less variety than I thought there would be). The shower pressure could be a bit stronger as well

Loved the area

This hotel is located a few blocks away from the Colosseum, so it is inside the historical centre. The location is just perfect, as you can literally walk to all the important sites from here. We skipped the free breakfast this time, as we were already wandering around the city before it was served. The rooms are comfortable enough.
