The staff was really helpful and so kind, the location was great. We went there and felt very safe the whole time, we did everything on foot. It was a great stay and the room was really clean. It has a fountain close by, a lot of bus stops, great restaurants and a market close by also. Just that the towels smells like vinegar, but nothing serious

Our room was spotless and the staff was very helpful with suggestions, carrying our luggage up the stairs and otherwise welcoming us. The hotel was close to the train station and it was easy to drop off our bags early (although our room was ready early!) and leave them after check-out for another day of sight-seeing.

The location was excellent. It is about a 7..8 minute walk to two different metro lines, making it easy to reach all the main attractions. There is also a public drinking water fountain on the corner of the building, which was very convenient during the hot weather. Several small shops and a supermarket are within a 7-minute walk. The room was clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The air conditioning struggled to keep the room cool during the extreme summer heat.

Very weird entrance, super thin walls.

Everything was terrible, room, restrooms etc. There is nothing likeable in this hotel rather than its location to the termini station that’s all

Just a minor shortcomings like supply of slippers and air condition systems not working.

Great hotel and warm hospitality

I typically don't leave reviews but considering how terrible this stay was I made an exception. I chose Hotel Meridiana because it was cheap. That turned out to be a huge mistake. Whatever money I “saved” wasn’t remotely worth the experience I had to endure, and I would have gladly paid more to stay literally anywhere else. Check-in was painfully slow, disorganized, and handled by staff who seemed both clumsy and openly rude. They somehow forgot to scan my girlfriend’s ID, which you’d think would be the end of it, but no. Instead of handling their own mistake professionally, they came to our room **in the middle of the night**, banging on the door to demand the ID they failed to take earlier. That alone was completely unacceptable and aggressive. The overall attitude of the staff was harsh, unwelcoming, and inhospitable from start to finish. On top of that, the front desk staff appeared unhygienic, with a strong, unpleasant odor, and one employee had a visibly severe skin condition on his head that looked like open wounds. It was deeply uncomfortable and only added to how unprofessional and unsettling the whole interaction felt. More importantly, he was cold, unkind, and made us feel like an inconvenience rather than guests. I’ve stayed in many hotels at many price points, and this was easily one of the worst staff experiences I’ve ever had. Cheap does not excuse rudeness, incompetence, or disrespect. Do yourself a favor: **do not stay here**. Spend more money and save yourself the frustration and discomfort.

A conveniently located hotel near Roma Termini - a huge public transportation hub. The hotel is a walking distance to the main attractions and is surrounded by convenience stores and nice restaurants. The staff is very friendly and polite and the room was very clean and spacious. We couldn't wish for more, especially given the low cost of the stay!

the location is excellent, train station, Metro and walkable to some of the main attractions in Rome And I felt absolutely safe.

The staf was great and very kind! The room was very clean.

The room was on the fourth floor, but there was no elevator, so I had to carry my heavy suitcase up the stairs. I had to ask the reception to open and close a door to enter the hotel area, so I couldn't come in and out freely. There was no desk in the hotel room. The area around the hotel was not clean and it felt a bit unsafe.

It was clean and quiet with a comfortable bed, staff interaction good. First room we were given was awful , window opening into laundry and stank of bleach. Dark and gloomy.Requested another room and were given one which was much better, have to ask why that one wasn’t offered first?!

Located pretty close to the train station and the Filipino restaurant on the corner is amazing. Couldn’t get the AC to work properly and it was very small although I know not small by Italian standards. The pictures online look much better, overpriced and there is no elevator.

The location was super, only a 10 minute walk from Roma Termini. The staff was helpful and the 24 hour front desk was perfect, since we had an early flight. The bed was comfortable and the shower was great. It was very loud when we were trying to fall asleep, since there was a restaurant downstairs with people singing. Small room, not much space. The room walls looked scratched and dirty. The staircase leading to the room seems to have been undergoing renovations.
