Nothing special in it Overpriced and Highly Disappointing: Do not waste your money on Hotel Montecarlo. Anyone who gave this place a 1-star review was telling the absolute truth. The photos online are highly deceptive; the actual rooms are smelly, outdated, and poorly maintained. The customer service is the worst I have experienced—loud, chaotic, and unprofessional. Breakfast is a daily disaster with a limited roof top that forces strict time limits on guests, a loud and rude breakfast attendant, and the exact same food every single day. To top it off, the amenities are a joke. There is no shower gel, just tiny soaps and cheap shampoo sachets that are impossible to open with wet hands. For the same amount of money, or just a little bit more, you can easily find a much better hotel in the exact same surrounding neighborhood. Avoid this place at all costs. Only good thing is Roma Termini is close by. But there are nicer hotels too in same or adjacent streets

The hotel had a great location and excellent value for money overall. Above all, the staff were incredibly kind — even when I made a significant mistake regarding a booking matter, they were very understanding and accommodated my somewhat unreasonable requests graciously. Overall, a great experience.

All the receptionists were very helpful and nice. The room was clean, no smells, the AC worked very well, the bathroom had all you needed, mini fridge in the room. Everything I had to eat and drink from the rooftop bar was good. The breakfast could have a little more diversity. Personally I would have loved some Italian cheese as an option.
