The worst hotel I have ever seen. There was a guy in the reception who shouted at me. For deposit, they requested my card’s confidential info but I didn’t want to share, when I didn’t want, he shouted at me. He said that, you can go, he know that I was a solo woman and it was so late to go out and find another room. I don’t recommend at all. It was just terrible. Be careful, I am saying it especially for solo women.

Breakfast and attitude late in night

The staff was very kind and helpful, they helped arrange a taxi to the airport. It’s a good value, no frills hotel. Very close and walkable to the train station. A bit run down, could be a little cleaner. Even though we paid for the “superior” double room, it was very cramped with full-sized luggage. Could not control the AC and we would have been more comfortable if we could make it cooler. Found it a bit bizarre to prohibit eating in the room, I have never encountered that rule at a hotel before. Walls are very thin and could hear other guests next door talking loudly late at night.

Unfortunately, there was nothing about our stay that met our expectations. From the unfriendly service at check-in to the uncomfortable room conditions, our experience was disappointing from start to finish. We were very disappointed with our experience at Hotel Corona. Unfortunately, our stay got off to a poor start from the moment we arrived. Our driver, who had been driving for over two hours to bring us to the hotel, politely asked to use the restroom but was refused by the receptionist. We found this to be lacking in basic courtesy. The check-in experience did not improve from there. The receptionist was abrupt and unwelcoming, which made us feel like we were inconveniencing her rather than being welcomed as guests. Once we got to our room, we discovered that the air conditioning was not cooling properly, making the room very uncomfortable. There were also mosquitoes in the room, and both one member of our group and her daughter were bitten several times. We gave the air conditioning time to cool the room while we went out, but when we returned, nothing had improved. After considering our options, we decided we could not stay under those conditions and booked alternative accommodations that same evening. We rarely leave negative reviews, but we feel it's important to share our experience so that other travelers know what to expect. We hope the hotel addresses these issues, as better customer service and properly maintained rooms would make a significant difference.

Position of the hotel is very good. It is close to city Centre and to a fast train. All staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast that was included was excellent. Everything was good.
-
It was a little noisy and echoey in the hotel, especially when certain guests were coming and going. Indoor voices would be more appreciated.
-
Very little options for breakfast and they limited your time eating from 30-40 minutes The bathroom location is on the corner of the room and for a quadruple room wasn’t easy.
-
Nothing. Booked but did not stay cause of aggressive behaviuor of hotel receptionist (owner) who wants me to pay 50€ for only showing room which is different than what I booked. Hotel didnt refund 360€
-
No designated smoking area. Recommend to give tag when you want room service or decline it.

Very friendly staff, location is perfect, breakfast is definately better than traditional italian "espresso and cigarett".

Breakfast was great. There was a fantastic local restaurant next door. The location was great for parking and visiting the Coliseum. We couldn't get the air conditioner to work so we had the windows opened which made the temperature ok but there was a large clanking sound all night so we had to close the windows to avoid the sound.

The room was too small

GREAT service at breakfast! Delicious Crossants fresh every morning. Great service with smiles at breakfast. People at the front desk were so helpful with directions, name of restaurants, AND helped me realize I wouldn't make it to the airport in time taking public transport!! GREAT people. GREAT experience!! N/A

Room size and facilities
-
Communicative staff. They make special breakfast too early bird guests. A very narrow elevator that won’t fit only three regular size people.
-
The hotel is exceptionally clean! Great location. Good and cheap breakfast. Staff are friendly!

The room was very small.

Clean, city centre location and value for money Room a little small but cosy
-
Great location. Reasonably priced. Very helpful desk staff. Breakfast food was good. Dining room staff was not very friendly. Felt like we were imposing on them.

Their front office is so hostile and they don't care about their Black skinned customers. They insisted on holding €50 from my card
