Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly! Great, quiet location in Trastevere. Breakfast was simple but enjoyable. The rooms were just the right size for a 3 night stay. My favorite part was the outdoor terrace- I loved sitting there for breakfast in the morning and after dinner in the evening!

הדבר העיקרי שהיה מאכזב זה החלון המצומצם שהכניס מינימום אור שמש, מעבר לזה היה בסדר.

Affordable Tv didn’t work.
-
location was great! breakfast was very poor.
-
The only think i liked was the location in Trastevere THe Rooms were very small and the staff is not friendly at all
-
Location was perfect, shower was hot, air conditioning was cold, it was spacious and very comfortable. Staff were helpful, prompt and professional. Nothing to add.
-
A bit cold during the night, luckily they had extra blankets in the room. The bathroom could use some deep cleaning and changing the toilet seat.

Hotel Carmel is an adorable little hotel, in a great vacation and one of the sweetest balconies. We had a wonderful stay and will surely go back Nothing

Good location near bus They lie - free breakfast my ass. You have to pay 10 Euro per person!!! Another bullshit “ tax “ is added at the end of your trip too for god knows what. No comforters on the bed, bed is uncomfortable. Tv is super old and small . Bathroom located outside the room

great location for exploring Rome, felt safe here no drain grate at the sink and was worried I would drop something down the drain
-
Location was good. Friendly staff. The beds weren’t that comfortable
-
The price was too high for the offered facilities. At least a coffe' machine it will be a plus.

The bed was very comfortable, it was possible to open the windows, but also to use airconditioning There was a cockroach in my room the first night. I went over to maintenance, which was supposed to be there all night long willing to help. I explained and the person who helped me was very grumpy, not helpful at all and very bad to communicate. In the end he killed the cockroach and that was all. After that I always had a dirty feeling in the room. The next morning when I wanted to take a shower I turned on the light of the bathroom and there were bugs crawling in there as well. When I wanted to change the height of the shower (I'm a tall person, not fit for Italian showers xD) I just pulled out the entire shower. Same with one of the energy contacts, when I wanted to take out my charger I could just pull off the entire holder. For the amount of many I payed (more than €100 per night) it wasn't valuable. (I don't have the videos anymore because my phone sadly has been stolen during the trip)

Only thing good was the location Room dirty, walls scratched, bedsheets stained, AC not working properly, shower door broken and NOT CLOSING, mould in the bathroom - different than what presented on the photos. We changed the location after one night...

Breakfast was certainly lacking. Cheap pound cake and bad coffee.

Loved staying in Trastevere, so convenient to amazing restaurants (Mimi e Coco is our favorite) and sights to see in Rome. The staff were so friendly and helped us out with an ironing board. The place was clean and tidy. There was street noise, but not bad at all for being in a big city. Nothing a few ear plugs couldn’t drown out. Unfortunately we never tried the breakfast as with summer heat we tried to get out early, before breakfast was served, so we could come back during the hottest part of the day. Finally, having AC was essential. Being able to take a break from the heat made it possible for us to do so much more. The split AC cooled the room down quick so you could turn it off when you headed out. It wasn’t a big deal, but it wasn’t the most comfortable bed, but it did the job.

Location was quieter than I expected, as it was on a main street. Air conditioner didn't work
-
Property is just less than 10 minute walk to Trastevere and there were places to eat and drink close by. The restroom needs cleaning. There were molds on the wall but otherwise good water pressure
-
Great location. Helpful staff. Beautiful view of the street. Clean room. Beautiful patio to drink your own wine if you like. Only room for improvement is fluffier pillows and better wifi but these are minor.

location was wonderful! needs some updating
