Staff are courteous and helpful. Location is good for RioExpo conferences which is a 2 minute walk. The breakfast is good and the price is very good. The rooms are very, very dark. There are roaches in the bathroom.

Air conditioning without temperature control, the room is either too cold or too hot, it only has an on/off switch, clogged sink, broken toilet flush.

The shower was good. It´s a MOTEL actually, but a bad one. Everything was old, the Headboard was super dirty with dust, the floor near the toiled had pee on it, the AC was old, made lots of noise and took almost 2 hours to freeze the room. ALMOST NO Wall outlets, only one at the bathroom actually! It does not worth the price.

Everything else is great, room clean, there is a nice view to the city from the room. On May 20 at around 20 pm the reception lady was extremely rude and unfriendly. She never smiled, she looked at me like at the problem. She was tired of guests and she hates this job.

Nosiy rooms. Room service staff pilfering your stuff. They also throw away some of my items thinking it was garbage and not wanted. Unprofessional. Will not like to stay at this hotel in future.

From a first time-traveler it was practical and everything I was worried about turned out just to be a thing of my imagination. The staff was polite and caring, and everything turned instinctively easy along the way. Not the property itself, but the Rio city center is a little decadent. Would be awesome if the prefecture cared more for it.
