Hampton Inn & Suites Jackson-Ridgeland

Our room had a sour/ cat pee like smell that got worse with the a/c fan on high. The staff was very friendly and kind and said they will address the issues with the manager.

Location if property is awesome. There is a nice walking path right outside and walking distance to several restaurants. Hotel is pet friendly with no hassle about our dog at all. Outside area had dog bags. Only issues is we missed housekeeping because they can super early - room was extremely low on conditioner. Room was very clean and bed was comfy. TV position was very awkward but whatever. Pool was out of towels both days so obviously no one was checking that - we had to get towels from the gym. Front desk staff at check in was wonderful. The breakfast lady Gay was very friendly and kept everything stalked. They had eggs, waffles, sausage, yogurts, breads. grits, cereals. I wish they had at least one sugar free creamer for diabetics (not just half and half). Overall great stay and would go back. There was an outside glass bottle broken in the parking lot that was there our entire stay so not sure if anyone is outside looking for those things. I felt very safe in the hotel and neighborhood.

We really enjoyed our stay. It is in a very nice area. The hotel room was very clean and the property was well maintained. They had a very nice breakfast. Would definitely stay there again.

On the outskirts of Jackson, nice area. Facility was clean and well-kept. It was also very quiet. Nothing.

Exceptional

Our accommodations were good. The room seems to be a little bit outdated, but it was clean. Slept well, but pillows and mattress need to be replaced. They wasn’t soft, but they were gently used. Staff was excellent and always very helpful. Mainly the two ladies that worked the front desk upon my arrival and whatever I needed. I needed some towels and they were very accommodating. Thank you.

Great staff!! My only complaint is the carpet. I hate carpet in hotels it feels SO dirty. No complaints otherwise!
