Shuttle bus into town No option of room choice without using stairs which was not possible due to heavy luggage We had to take a smaller option but there was no change in price

We had a great view from 306 of the mountains which was very nice. We were also very pleased with the breakfast provided and the cute decor of the breakfast spade. Lack of elevator when lugging suitcases is a little inconvenient. Rooms are pretty basic and there was only one bedside table and no table lamp which means that you either sit in the dark or have to get up to switch off the light when ready to sleep.

The power outage

The breakfast was superb! The best we have ever had! We are in our late sixties and Earl seventies . Lovely lawn area. Comfortable bed. Dog friendly. The noise of traffic and trains! The air conditioning system was extremely noisy. The room is so small we actually had a feeling of claustrophobia.

The food was plenty but thr hot food was cold which was a shame as the choices were good for gluten free. The toilet would not flush and became plugged so very uncomfortable at night.

It was clean, very good location, spacious room and comfortable bed. breakfast was very good

Hotel room was clean and cozy. Loved the outdoor hot tub. Also enjoyed the free breakfast. Great location, close enough to the highways and walking trails nearby. Hotel room’s a little small compared to other hotels of same price range. The wires on the tv and cable could have been neatly arranged so you don’t see it on the wall.

We liked the location and the old vibe feel in the building. It holds lots of history! it was very quiet as well for sleeping, etc.

Rooms are very very small and air conditioning units are incredibly loud.

Room was quite dirty when we arrived (food on the ground, hair in the bathroom), there was no elevator, everything was just a bit below par.

Too close to the highway and train tracks. Freighters (both train & trucks) were roaring by all night. Very noisy. The bathroom was horrible. I don’t think it has ever been updated. The shower screeched like a banshee. The flooring was dirty. Get that disgusting 70s carpet out of there. I asked the morning staff at the complimentary breakfast if I could go back to my room to get my travel mug and fill it up with coffee to go. They said yes. When I got back, it was closed. The door was locked. I was told the complimentary coffee would be left in the hallway. It was not.

The staff was fine, and the room although small and very dated was clean The cost was insane, the hotel is tired, rooms tiny, dated, and worn out

Location was convenient. Rooms and property were clean. Breakfast buffet was delicious! Not a ton to do with young kids. Some of the rooms are quite small.

Clean, friendly staff, great grassy area and walk near the river, it was pet friendly. It’s not in the main part of town, but it was economical which was great.

I like Stoke Hotel because the location is incredibly convenient. The fact that they cook breakfast (and included) in the hotel is already a bonus! The staff was hospitable and respectful. There's some wear and tear, but the room was clean when we arrived.

Great breakfast & excellent location. The bathroom was awkward.

Clean Noisy

The breakfast was amazing especially the cheese egg cups, the location was in perfect view from our hotel window and door. There could have been a direct connection to the main building for when it’s raining.
