Did not stay!! Counter staff was no help! Got there at 6pm and had kids ready to jump in the pool after a 4 hr drive and it was closed and then was told the garage parking would be closed at 8 pm. Decided not to stay and once I said that to the lady at the counter she told me good luck in finding a new hotel. I was able to get a room somewhere else. Never planning a stay here.

Great and spacious rooms

This hotel was centrally located in Downtown Reno. Walking distance to many restaurants. It was unfortunate the swimming pool was out of commission while our stay but not their fault. The bar was a nice added attraction with very helpful and friendly bar tenders.

The front desk man Mike is just the kindest person and so friendly. We are from Fallon and he got to talking about Fallon with us. Laurie at the bar was fantastic and she stayed open longer because we were all having a fantastic time. We will 100% be back for another staycation in the future.

Stayed for one night between airport and a stay in Tahoe. The hotel was fine. Reno is not the greatest town. I would not wonder around at night although the hotel itself was fine. Not happy with the hotel policy on using facilities before check in. My adult son was arriving ahead of us. There was no room available since it was ahead of check in time which was fine. However, they would not allow him access before the rooms was ready to use the facilities (pool, gym etc.) saying it was hotel policy. First time ever traveling that I encountered a hotel that would not allow you to sit by the pool for a couple of hours before your room was ready. Although the hotel was fine for a one night stay, I would not come back.

This is a charming hotel in an excellent location. All of downtown Reno and the riverside walk is in the area. The hotel was clean and everyone was friendly. I recommend a drink at Thirsty's on the 7th floor.

Right in downtown Reno. Walking distance to several casinos, numerous restaurants, and the river park. Outside music in the afternoon/evening was a bonus.

* There is no front desk person after 12am (I think) until 7am. They allow after hours check in but im not sure of the process. * In other reviews I saw parking was an issue. I had no problem with it. There is plenty of room in the garage *there is an extra $25 deposit for a gate opener, it isnt nessassary if you dont need to leave overnight. The deposit is returned at check out. *The rooms are HUGE. Clean and had everything we needed. My only *Negative* experience: They charge a $50 PER NIGHT deposit. Not per booking. So if you book a 8 night stay they will expect a $400 deposit. Yes, its returned at check out (or how ever long your bank processing is) this is EXCESSIVE in my opinion. There is no restaurant or room service, or any accommodation that would be charged to your room, and I absolutely expected a deposit (just about every room in Reno will have one) but the daily deposit is extreme. It is something I did not budget for and it changed alot for our trip. All in all we loved the hotel and the staff. A from us.

This property has a 1950s feel to it. Not a corporate hotel vibe. My room had an excellent view of downtown Reno.

Extraordinary value for the money. It’s a bit dated but in a cozy sort of way. Very Old Reno. Great location. Right on the river walk. Parking garage is locked at night so it’s very secure. 10/10.
