Seattle Marriott Redmond

Hotel is in a good location - within walking distance to shops and cafes/bakeries. It's a mid-older hotel, we had view of parking lot and pool. Unfortunately, the pool was closed - had children with us so saddened by that. We were told the adjacent hotel may allow us to swim if we presented our hotel card. Self-serve parking was onsite, but not available, so count on $40/night for valet parking (which was quick and serviced well). Staff were courteous and helpful.

The pool was closed for maintenance the whole time we were there. Parking was extremely confusing. You either pay $35 to drive your car to their parking garage while they send someone over to open the gate for you, or you pay $39 for them to valet park it. The mattress was officially the hardest mattress I've ever slept on and the bleach smell was so strong we had to cover our pillows with shirts to reduce the smell. The staff was nice and helpful.

It was not a good experience

Excellent location, clean and comfortable room Breakfast is not worth it, portions are fair size but quality is not there. Personally I prefer a bagel from Starbucks than the scrambled eggs from the hotel.

We went to a concert at Marymoore that we took a short uber to then walked back after. Everything was super easy from parking to checking in and every single one of the staff that we interacted with was wonderful. The location was perfect with everything we could possibly want a walkable distance.

Our room had zero toiletries, the refrigeraytor was warm, the floor was dirty and the soaps in the shower were empty. Parking and Wi-Fi were also expensive. I emailed 2 different people 4 separate times with a question with ZERO response!!

Room and beds were very clean and comfortable. Stay was quiet, all aspect of staff from check in to valet we're very kind and helpful.

Staff was friendly Cost was normal daily rate. Bathroom door did close completely. Balcony was filthy. Lighting was inadequate. Not enough hangars for two people. Charging for WiFi when they were charging outrageous rates was despicable

At least in India, the Marriot has amazing breakfast spread. Here, you sit at a table and order from a small set menu. The staff made me feel very unwelcome, saying there was a mother's day brunch, so they weren't sure if breakfast could be served (at 730 am!) The shower cubicle had a very shallow etc and poor drainage so a few min of showering and you had to stop because the water would overflow onto the bathroom floor Staff felt very cold and unfriendly, not what I am used to at the Marriotts
