The location was ideal to visit the churches and mosaics. The staff was attentive and accommodating. The owner was very knowledgeable about the services available in the area and arranged everything we had an interest in. I had no dislikes

The hotel is a beautiful property with a great location. The rooms are beautifully decorated (I was in the Green Room. Had the biggest TV I’ve ever seen!) and the staff were really helpful locating a taxi. They were also really flexible about our checkout time. The air con worked great and the shower pressure was 10/10. Nothing - it’s perfect. I have nothing negative to say about the hotel.

Beautifully appointed. Phenomenal location. Convenient to the train station. And the main town plaza. Great attention to little details like offering limitless sparkling and still water.

Truly exceptional property, located in a centuries old mansion. Fully renovated and centrally located. Very unique, you’ve got to stay here when in Ravenna. You won’t regret it. Luxurious large bedroom, bathroom with two rain showers, sauna, yoga room. The icing on the cake is Emanuela. She provides first class service.

Emanuela was excellent. She made our stay very nice. She also went out of her way to find us a ride to the port for our cruise. Highly recommended. Very much like a bed and breakfast. That we couldn't stay longer.

Location and design Choice for breakfast could be better, I would definetely add some fresh bread (and not just one that you have to toast) and orange juice of better quality

Perfect location - easy access to railway and all major sites of interest were in waking distance. Staff were very helpful and accommodating. Only negative was rooms were on the second floor and the elevator did not stop on that floor. So bags had to be carried up stairs.

Fabulous place, very favorable location: could not recommed more highly. And what a town Ravenna is.

I love family owned and run properties. There is a special love they give to their home, business, and guests. What could be better than staying in the childhood bedroom of the proprietor? Of course it has been remodeled and turned into a beautiful library suite, a book lovers fantasy. Unless of course you prefer the small gym behind the partition in the rear of the room. Our only regret is we were only booked for one night. A bit of a trek from the train station, but worth it.

The room was very nice The access to the room is not very convenient given that you need to take an elevator and then go down the stairs to get to your room The lights in the bathroom are on a timer and it doesn’t give you enough time to bathe.

Emanuela is a charming hostess who is among the best we have had.

All I can say was blown away! The room was just breathtaking stately and I loved waking up to fresco’s on the ceiling. We had the green room which was an Emerald color. The bed was so comfortable and the TV had Netflix available that we could watch in English a nice touch. They had an elliptical in the side room right before our bathroom entry. Also, a very nice touch. The bathroom was spectacular and the location perfecto.! The proprietor and the staff couldn’t have done more to make us feel at home. I have to say this was probably one of my most favorite stays and there has been a lot of competition. GIRONDA stands out! Absolutely nothing!

Gironda, set in Ravenna's centro storico, offers guests unique, conveniently located accommodation. The rooms have been lovingly restored and furnished to create an opulent experience. Our room had a private sauna and yoga room, two features most can agree are not the standard! Due to its location above a courtyard off the street, it was very quiet. There was free wifi and breakfast, as well as toiletries in the bathroom. The main piazza was steps away, and there were loads of dining and drinking options at your doorstep. As the hotel is in a historic building, there are some steps to go up/down to get to/from the elevator; those with mobility issues will want to take note. The lovely front desk team helped carry bags up and will surely assist others.
