This hotel was exceptional at every turn and I can't wait to go back. For all of the people working there - from wait staff to musicians to the concierge, to front desk and even cleaning staff-everyone was friendly, competent, and warm. People did their jobs well, and went above and beyond. One morning they ran out of a cereal my son liked, and someone ran to get him more from next door. Waiters and waitresses learned your coffee order after a few days. Staff also had a great command of English, putting non-Spanish speaking guests at ease. The pool area is perfect; yes, a little crowded during spring break weeks, but large enough that groups could spread out. There were mostly families there, but some couples and older groups as well. Some older guests told me that they have been coming to this hotel for years - that says a lot! The grounds are beautiful! It feels like a botanic garden and the peacocks & iguanas are exciting to see. Beds are comfortable, and great value getting a full apartment. Views were stunning! The property is large enough that you can enjoy different activities, but not so big that you feel you are getting lost or in a tourist bubble, as with some all-inclusives. The hotel leans into its Mexican identity, which is wonderful! The programming/evening entertainment (including Mexican night) was fun and enough to give guests (including tweens and teens) fun things to do (karaoke, casino night, dance performances, cultural shows etc) where they might feel like they have some independence, but within the safety of the hotel grounds. The hotel is so close to the airport, the commute was a breeze. Getting an uber from the hotel to town (as a solo mom with 2 kids) was safe, inexpensive, and quick. The food was excellent and varied. Breakfast was delicious, and the beachside cafe was our favorite. Pool games, including volleyball, water aerobics, poolside ping pong and crafting, were fun and well-attended. We'll definitely be back! Honestly everything was great! A few things: If swimming in the ocean is important to you, this might not be the hotel for you (though my sense is that most hotels in Puerto Vallarta are on beaches that are beautiful to look at, but very few beaches are good for swimming). We swam once and saw a few others doing so, but it was very rocky and coupled with the medium-sized waves, made it hard not to stumble a lot. Others were stung by jellyfish, and the property next door has a warning sign for crocodiles (I'm told only during rainy season!), which we was a little unsettling! That said, the beach is great for sitting, walking, playing volleyball, playing in the sand etc. And stunning for photos! If being near night life is important to you (wasn't for us), this also might not be the hotel for you. It is a 25 min taxi/Uber ride to the downtown where you would go to shops, restaurants etc. However, Ubers were quick, safe and cheap. But if you want to stay where the action is, you might choose elsewhere. Our suite was quite new, but a glance in a few others showed me that some suites still need updating. Also, I did not find any salespeople aggressive, but I do think they sell timeshares, which I know is a turn off to many. That said, a polite "no thanks" was all it took - I did not find anyone overly pushy, as I have experienced in other places. Food for the lunch hour wasn't available until 12:30pm. While this may be natural for the local context, some guests with small children (who are likely to eat earlier) or coming from eastern time zones may be hungry for lunch earlier. Finally, the hotel is very close to the airport. The airport is not busy, but during a few stretches in the afternoon, it is possible to hear some planes taking off/landing. However, unless you are hypersensitive to the noise, it's not noticeable. The hotel was nearly perfect for us, but these might be things others would consider.

He didn’t like the location of the property and we didn’t like that. We did see lifeguards by the beach. The beach was dirty and did not feel private. There were no shuttles from the hotel to the airport or to main points at the malls or the casinos or the Melancon. The hand sanitizer is near their hotels were not filled. They were empty. There are only two restaurants in the entire hotel. The air conditioning was not working well. We paid $6,200. For 4 nights for all inclusive. Expected more honestly.

Great service from the front desk staff, especially the young lady that checked us in and got us a better suite with a balcony at no extra cost for our honeymoon. She also got welcome drinks brought to us at the front desk while making a reservation at the Andrea restaurant. Hotel left some chocolate covered strawberries with a message "Happy Honeymoon" to help us celebrate. Our servers were very friendly, especially the one at Andrea restaurant, I think his name is Ricardo. Luis the bartender at the swim up bar was great, the pool and lazy river was fun and relaxing. The AC in our room worked great. The wifi would cut out in the bathroom of our suite. Maybe it's the tiles or the location of the room but it could've been a little better. We requested a shuttle from the airport but weren't notified of where the pickup would be, so we just got an Uber instead.

We enjoyed all meals we had in the beach side restaurant, pool food and drink service. We enjoyed room service which was excellent. People bringing their own music to the bar which conflicted with the resort music. Everything else was perfect.
-
The entire property is beautifully landscaped and maintained. The all inclusive experience was excellent. Every meal was perfectly prepared. This was truly hospitality at its best.
-
Beautiful gardens and nice pool. Excellent staff.
-
Breakfast was ok, options were limited. Lunch and dinner was good. Food altho was good. Limited options. No hot tub
-
Yes, said airport transportation was provided, then i get into Mexico and the hotel says they do not provide transportation
-
Water temp in the shower was inconsistent, ATMs on site are crazy expensive.

The staff were excellent. Everyone was very helpful and very friendly. The food from each restaurant and room service was great. They accommodated for the people that were with us that are vegetarian and vegan. Our adult children enjoyed the daily activities and the evening entertainment. The beach is just steps away and there are cabanas with food and drink service from the resort. The pillows were too soft. The pools were a bit too warm.
-
The pools were big and nice There were music but just for some people it was too low , there weren’t nobody to make people have fun in the pool. There were only two restaurants, and the drinks weren’t good I ask for different drinks and it was the same.

Everything!!

Entertainment wasn’t great but not a huge deal. Also, the owner of the property honked at our Uber driver to get out of the way when he was picking us up which left a bad taste in my mouth.
-
the variety of food options were amazing. our party had to try one of everything. it helped that it was all inclusive. loved how welcoming and helpful the staff was to us. we didn’t try the restaurant that needed reservations as the food options were same as home.

Our server Juan at the buffet by the beach went above and beyond to cater to our needs. Staff was friendly. Pool was not vibing. More music and they close bar way too early.
