Location was fantastic! Bed was comfy! This place is a gem. Don’t keep looking, just book now. This place is now combined with Villa del Palmar.

Not impressed with pretty much everything. 3 stars at best. Checking in was frustrating, took way to long. Rooms we dirty. Elevator broken. Broken A/C in first room. Key cards stopped working.

The size of the resort was very manageable, while giving us every option - several restaurants, pools, beach, spa and excursion booking desk. Excellent housekeeping. Loved the Sports Bar & staff there. The Seafood Restaurant was to die for. My husband got an excellent breakfast at the Italian Restaurant every morning, thanks to Carols. The decor and room generally needs updating - quite tired, outdated furnishings (although comfy). We had a noise coming from the plumbing for our entire stay. They tried to fix it, but it was sometimes constant, sometimes off and on. Had to use earplugs and keep bathroom door shut at night.

The staff was excellent! They were very attentive and helpful. Ray was awesome and so was David and all the other men that were at the entrance opening our doors whenever we arrived or left the hotel! Everything was great!

The staff were very friendly and always helpful when needed. The room was perfect, with comfy beds and kitchenette. The hotel has all the amenities you need including amazing pools, spas, restaurants, private beach and an on-site store. The only thing I'll say is be wary of the 'free' breakfast which includes a 90 minute presentation. You'll be taken to their other hotel and waste a day as they try to sell you a time-share. Avoid! The free breakfast is not worth wasting a day. The free city tour is well worth it however, and I highly recommend. The bus takes you up through to mismaloya and is a nice day. Overall my friend and I had a great stay and would definitely come back. Be wary of the 'free' breakfast which includes a 90 minute presentation. You'll be taken to their other hotel and waste a day as they try to sell you a time-share. Avoid! The free breakfast is not worth wasting a day.

The beds. Where to begin? a) for a 4 night stay and a group, we were only given one 500ml water bottle and one coffee. b) room neede sweeping and mopping c) screen to the balcony was off and the AC dripped making a puddle in the balcony d) wifi kept logging off e) there was no ice available anywhere unless you purchased it at their mini market But worst of it all: the service by the employees; once you walk into the lobby they’re at you trying to sell shows and timeshares. The hassle and rudeness is really unnecessary, specially from Denisse “the 24/7” lady.

My room was in close proximity to the pool. The room size was fairly large and since it has full kitchen it will be a good idea for a family. On arrival, they will tell you "pre" check-in is at 2pm but is a hook so they can have an extra hour to convince you to book a TIMESHARE presentation. After you tell them NO more than 10 times, you will get your keys. When I went it was raining and our balcony did not have a roof. I asked to be moved to another room, they said for next day with a charge and I accepted. That night the AC broke at 2 am and I notified them of the issue. Once we got moved to the new room the balcony light was not working, the bathroom had a leak and the safe didn't work. But we had taken so long to get them to agree to move and dealing with the time share issue that I didn't ask to be to moved again. We really just wanted to start enjoying our vacation. At check-out I went to the front desk and there was no manager on shift (weird) they called the Room manager Ricardo and told him that given the fact the room was not in top condition and that the previous room AC broke I didn't think the upgrade charge was fair. He agreed and said they would reimburse it. Is not the money but the principle. I did not get the refund offered, I sent emails giving them a chance to what was agreed and therewas no response, which is why I am posting in detail so that if it happens to you. You take care of it, while you are in town as they to do abide by their word.
