Villa Carolina Bed and Breakfast

Beautiful villa - very picturesque. Very nice staff and good breakfast. The AC was working and all good but was blowing right at us during the night.

Bed and cleaning

This was a lovely place, is like being in a hidden gem. The bed was too bouncy, but it was confortable nevertheless.

Off the beaten tourist area but an easy walk to major attractions. Secluded, quiet and friendly with a nice breakfast enjoyed in a backyard garden setting. Volume of hot water in shower was a bit low.

The breakfast food and service was awesome. Fresh fruit and juice was so delicious. The staff are kind and make sure you enjoy your stay. Nothing, I really enjoyed staying here.

The staff was amazing and the grounds are beautiful!

Friendly staff, historically rich interior. Lack of English speaking staff. I'm told the owners are most familiar with Spanish and Italian.

Fabulous; great breakfast each morning. Beautiful courtyard. Too far from major attractions for us.

Beautiful garden setting, incredibly convenient for the city, kind host. Felt like you were a guest of the family. Safe and quiet area. Nice breakfast. Trees above the garden full of birds - absolutely incredible! Amazing to be in the city, yet so much in nature. Host gave perfect recommendations on dinner, walking, and taxi. So kind! We would stay again!! Maybe just an extra couple pillows on the bed. Overall the room is spacious and quiet with fan, AC, and a very nice bathroom.

Fast polite service, healthy food, amazing garden atmosphere.. No complaints.

My room was big, but sadly not the cleanest - there was a bunch of black hair on the floor, also not fully clean on day 2. On the other hand, they don't want to follow European sustainable approaches and changed my towel every day even though I asked twice not to do so. I was very happy with the soundless AC & good fan. The bed was too hard for me. The location is close enough to everything, but if you don't enjoy walking, you need some transport. The pool was really great. The breakfast was the best I have had so far - lots of fruit. But watch out for the many mosquitoes in the breakfast & kitchen area as well as around the pool. The owner was super helpful with my trip planning (& speaks some English), & the breakfast lady was also super nice.
