Villa Casalet

Up against a large empty monolithic building. Loud music from bars.

The furnishing of the rooms was very basic. Absolutely fine for a one night stay but if one was staying longer one would want more.

Location and value A/c could have been better

Get rid of the "Hotel Gaza" in front of Casalet.

Be aware that there is an all night club/bar close by. At 10 PM the music starts and doesn't end till 4-5 AM. And it's VERY loud. THis seems to happen every night. I stayed there in February 2025 and September 2025. EVERY night.

Location Service wasn’t to gentle

It states in the reservation that the house has A/C and it in fact does not, it is very humid and there are only fans throughout the home.

Great location near to the beach. The facilities were very good and clean. The staff very friendly and helpful The building in front blocking the view

The pool was awesome, rooms cleaned really well and it felt more homely then being at a hotel which I appreciate. Be aware there is an absolute towering abandoned building blocking the view of the ocean which I really feel for the owners on this one because Villa Casalet really is in such a beautiful spot. Nothing, the staff were great and the rooms were cute and it felt more like a home stay which I love

Exceptional

Good location. Near beach, restaurants, bars and shops. Large abandoned building blocking view to the ocean. Very little amenities at hotel. No TV in room.

Beds were very hard. Very loud music until 4am our first night.

The view rooms and treatment

HUGE massive abandom concret building in front of the hotel. So the ocean view, is not there any more. On the other hand, if your question is "was closed to the beach?", the answer is Yes. Definetly. HOWEVER, they never mentioned that they have multiple clubs and specially one just beside the Hotel that (at least) during the weekend is open until 8 am playing SUPER loud music. It felt that we were sleeping inside the club. PLEASE, if you want to sleep or you plan to have a relax and chill night, DON'T stay here. Quiet, good aircon, close to everything you need, easy to get taxis if you need. Pool was refreshing after a day on the beach. Rooms were kept clean. Great value for money. Obviously surrounded by the old abandoned construction site. Beds were not very comfortable but just there overnight, spent most of our time away from the room.

Great location, pool was nice and good rooms. The monstrous building that overlooks the property is hard to get over. I would not mind if I knew about it from the property, however the fact that they hide it so much in their photos is deceptive. If you want great value for money but don’t mind an awful view this place is for you!

Location Bar music is too loud

Location The hotel is too close to the bars and the music might not let you sleep on Friday’s and Saturday’s

The property itself such as common areas are nice. The rooms are old, the bathrooms are not new, did not feel comfortable showering without shoes. The price is not too cheap for what you get. The towels are also not new or at least decent.
