Located in the historic center of Tazacorte, 1.2 mi from the beach, Hotel Hacienda de Abajo is an adults-only hotel (over 14 years old), offering individually decorated rooms and free Spa access. We didn't eat dinner in the restaurant but breakfast on the terrace was absolutely delicious, everything you could possibly want to eat. The staff are lovely. Loved the room, the pool, the gardens, the peace and quiet. Thanks to Jose and the team for making us feel so welcome. Its a very special place but not stuffy or elitist. Faultless!

We loved the location and the buildings' architecture and the setting; the garden was fantastic. The room was spacious and very comfortable. Had great meals with local wine. The staff are amazing. The bed was rather hard and tall.

The hotel is set in a beautiful house with art and interesting objects everywhere. The gardens are stunning and full of colour. It’s so peaceful and relaxing. The staff were friendly and helpful. The beach is a 15 minute walk away. The weather was perfect. Sun every day. I loved it. The bed could have been more comfortable

Beautiful tranquil setting, gorgeous room with birdsong coming in open doors everyday, comfortable bed, wonderful staff who could not do enough for us as one of us was ill, quiet pool, Limited food selection when confined to hotel only as we were, restaurant is very good but quite formal, it would nice to have had a casual form of dining as well as restaurant.

Beautiful pool with sauna and spa. Excellent staff. Lovely building. Nice toiletries. Very comfy. Lovely gardens. Easy access to volcano visitor centre. Would have been nice to have a kettle in the room to make our own tea/coffee and enjoy our garden outside the room. The bar closed early and then could only go the restaurant which was nice but quite pricey and no chance to just get a tea or coffee.

Beautiful garden and swimming pool area. Excellent breakfast. The bar service hours in the swimming pool could be extended (i.e. till 20.00).

Beautiful grounds and building. A little paradise. Staff extremely attentive wanting our stay to be perfect. It would be nice to be able to have a snack or evening drink at the property although there are plenty of other places within walking distance

location was very good- near the centre of Tazacorte. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel's gardens are fabulous and the food , both at breakfast and dinner was excellent nothing- this hotel stay exceeded our expectations and we would gladly have stayed longer!
