Josephine Old Town Square Hotel - Czech Leading Hotels

My daughter and I stayed for four nights and thoroughly enjoyed the exceptional location of the hotel along with the wonderful staff. For us, the breakfast room was small and quite warm… It would be so nice to be able to sit outside easily, but perhaps that is a separate restaurant… I think being outside is always nice!

Location Everything was bad

Great location. Very delicious and healthy breakfast. Super friendly staffs who even wrote me a letter in my mother language. Air conditioning isn’t really working.

We got upgraded to a spacious room which was a nice treat for my dad's birthday trip! We did Uber a lot because his mobility is limited and we never had a problem with pick up. The view from the room was beautiful. Great and welcoming staff all around. The mini bar was a bonus because we brought our own snacks. The bathtub was huge and I was finally able to enjoy a nice bubble bath after years (I'm 5'10) We loved everything!

Exceptional location, spacious room, great view, friendly staff

The room was spacious and set up with nice style, feeling more like a home than a hotel room. There was plenty of space to store things, and a beautiful bathroom. Only very minor things, like some sugar crumble we found in a desk drawer, barely worth mentioning. In the nice old building, one has to beware a bit of the diagonal wooden beams in the upper rooms :)

Awesome location, very friendly staff, clean rooms and overall a great experience. The people at the reception, especially Ms. Daria, were super helpful. I highly recommend this place!

Wonderful property that immediately transports the mind body and soul into the heart of old town Prague. Easy to access anything and everything one could want with THE MOST helpful staff that was able to answer all of our questions at the desk and through whatsapp communication. Perfect hotel I have nothing bad to say. Exceeded all expectations for our family.

Very clean and with air conditioner

Amazingly located hotel with large bedrooms, attentive staff and great breakfast. The rooms were big and airy so teenage children didn’t feel cooped up. Our electricity did go off one day in the daytime when an AC unit was being fixed but again staff were great and because the rooms are so large and airy it didn’t get too hot despite it being a very warm day.

Great location. Friendly staff. Added Czech pass benefits. It is so central that you can hear noise on the street til early hours during weekends.

Very responsive and nice staff. Especially Eliska. The hotel is cozy and in the center of Prague. The room was quite big especially for the center hotel . Air conditioning was a little not coping with the 30+ degrees heat outside.

We travelled as a family of four with our two grown children. We loved our stay!!! The location is unbeatable! You are so close to the heart of the old town it seems like you are cheating! You overlook a small square with great restaurants and cute shops! You are a two minute stroll from the Old Town square and the Old Tyn church gothic towers literally tower over you! It’s majestic and inspiring! It’s so easy to stop by your room any time during the day if you need a break or to pick something up! We stayed in a large room for four. It had a lovely entry area and then a nice seating area that allowed you to have some privacy in the room if needed. The bedroom was huge with a King bed, two singles, a fold out couch, a large desk, a small fridge and a large wardrobe. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. They attempted to do whatever they could to help us. The room was well appointed with a complementary bottle of wine and lots of tea and coffee options. The beds were comfy with multiple pillows and sheets and comforter options. When we come back to Prague we will make a point to stay here! If others ask us for a recommendation of where to stay in Prague we will glowingly recommend it to anyone who asks! The shower isn’t large so if you are really big or tall you might struggle there. It wasn’t a problem for our family, who all above average height, but it wasn’t roomy at all. On weekend nights, if you have the windows open to enjoy the lovely weather, the restaurants and bars nearby can be a little loud. We were there in a crazy heat wave and the AC struggled to keep up in our room. But we opened the windows and a lovely cross breeze cooled our room rapidly.

The location is perfect. The offered private parking is actually far away from the hotel.

I loved everything.

Straff reception were nice and supportive. Breakfast straff lacked smile and friendliness. Breakfast was just only ok. No bacon one morning. Jam glasses with lid on looked as if they had not been opened for long. Food poorly presented.
