The location was perfect, staff is helping and nice This hotel is outdated, there’s a strong smell of sewage in the bathroom after you turn on the tap for the first time, the double bed is in fact made up of two single beds so there’s a hole in the middle, no air conditioning so even in the morning (when there’s not hot outside) there’s too warm in the room, no ventilation in the restroom

The location is the best thing about this hotel. It is a short 16 min walk from the train station and is easy walking distance from anywhere the average person needs in Prague. The YMCA pool for example was a short walk away and so was a post office. Beyond the location, this is a decent place in the sense it is clean, the Wi-Fi works, and there is a breakfast which is ok plus. Lots of printed leaflets about various attraction in Prague are available and while I did not use it I did see there is a computer and printer set aside for guests who need it so that's very nice. The Indian restaurant facing the hotel is very, very good and was a nice surprise. It's not about not liking, more about understanding what this is and what this is not. There is no AC for example, this is not a tragedy and I was able to sleep but some people need an AC during a heatwave that sadly has wide-ranging effects all over Europe. The location is fantastic, but this is Prague in summer so you WILL hear people outside during the night chatting and having a good time. If you are a light sleeper or visit the city to perform in a concert and need your focus and sleep this needs to be noted. One tiny thing, the receptionists are pleasant and effective but when I asked about a pool nearby the person who happened to have been there did not know. Again, this is ok, this is an unusual question and he did offer to look it up for me (no need, I know how to use Google as well right:) But seeing the YMCA pool is really a stone-throw away from the hotel it is odd he didn't know it. (The YMCA also has a gym if one is needed).

The hotel is a bit dated compared to what is shown in the pictures. It’s not a bad place, but it’s clearly in need of a refresh. It feels quite old in certain areas, so don't expect the same look as seen in the promotional photos.

Great location, the staff is helpful and friendly, good breakfast. The room is clean and nice, had a good view.

Very small room, not comfortable and there were any facilities in the room

Good location close to the center, a pleasant breakfast, and a comfortable room. Nothing extraordinary, but definitely good value for the price. The lift is quite small, so getting down can take a while, especially during breakfast time.

The location is great, you can walk to Old Town Square in 3 minutes. The hotel is quite and clean, the breakfast was great.

It was clean and centrally located. The staff were sometimes just inattentive and sometimes downright rude. When I was trying to check in, the woman at the front desk was having an argument on her speakerphone with someone the entire time. One morning I made the mistake of trying to take a coffee cup up to my room after breakfast and the manager ended up shouting at me in the middle of the dining room. In his defense, there was a small sign saying not to take service items up to the room but I had not seen it. I was clearly in the wrong, but it could’ve been handled with a comment like, “please sir, we ask that all service items remain in the dining room” and that would’ve been the end of it. Instead, he’s shouting at me in front of all the other guests, wagging his finger in my face like I’m a child, shouting at me that it’s not allowed.

The pictures of the hotel do not represent the real condition of the accomondation!

It’s second time I was in this hotel. First time I didn’t like it and I write everything on review. But now it was good, maybe we were on another floor or they repaired rooms I don’t know, but now everything was good. Breakfast was very good Reception staff need better customer service training.

Breakfast was poor

No ventilation in the bathroom, after a shower and toilet usage you needed to use the window of the room ant that is not so convenient when you have wet hair and outside is chilly. It had no AC but it doesn't matter because the period when I traveled I didn't need one. The fridge wasn't working but maybe I I told the reception about it they might have fix it. Very noisy neighbours.

Big rooms, and perfect location We had read in advance that the staff might not be very polite, and unfortunately, this matched our own experience. Especially in the breakfast area, the level of service was quite poor – the staff seemed unwelcoming and reacted strongly to minor things, such as putting a regular slice of bread in the toaster (which apparently is only meant for toast slices). At the reception, we were also met by an older woman who appeared outright grumpy. There is definitely room for improvement when it comes to guest service and general friendliness.

Great central location close to all the historical sites and museums. Easily accessible by walk from the train station. Breakfast was OK, the room was nice and the service on point. It would be have been nice to have a kettle in the room
