Royal Court Hotel

Although hotel is quite far from old town and isn’t fancy, but the rooms are big, staff polite and nice, breakfast really good and you get welcome drink in room after arriving. So for this price it is very good choice if you visiting Prague! There is a lot stairs until first floor, if you are young and healthy - everything is fine, other wise it could be difficult to carry luggage or reach front desk.

Breakfast was vast and complete, nice options and really well served. Bed was horrible, the bed support wasn't right and my back felt the consequences.

Staff was nice, room was comfy and there were two complementary bottles of water and wine, when I checked in. I don't drink wine, so I left it behind. I liked the amenities and the bed, mattress and pillows were pleasant. Bathroom was clean, but a bit dark and could have a bit of renewal, as well as the shower head, it could be bigger. Nowadays many hotels have douche near by the toilet, that would be nice add on as well. But nothing was critically off.

The rooms were designed to make you miserable with the light that turns on when a fly passes by at all times of night and day, with a metal step at the toilet entrance that cuts your foot if you don't see it at night; beds and pillows were not comfortable, room was very hot and breakfast was the saddest breakfast I ever saw

Like the room a lot. The location was fine. Easy transit to the center. The front desk staff who was there when my friend and I arrived was beastly, and set a sour tone for my entire stay. No smile, no welcome, just brusquely told us the tax we had to pay and shoved forms at us. I have been traveling extensively for decades, and NEVER have I been so rudely treated. When we complained to a nicer person the next day, I expected to hear from the manager, but nothing. Why stay here when there are so many comparable hotels in Prague. No excuse. I deserved better. PLEASE do not send me a scripted apology now. My second and last trip to Prague. We encountered many brusque people throughout. They don’t want tourists? Fine. I will stay away and tell others to do the same.

Our room, after we had paid 30 euro, for an upgrade. Staff were friendly. Beds comfortable. Underfloor heating in bathroom. Size of room . Bathrobes . I had requested a quiet room, on 3 different occasions, as we were celebrating my birthday. The hotel replied, saying that they would do their best. Their best turned out to be a room, directly opposite the lift and overlooking the quite busy and sometimes noisy street. To be fair, though. I was offered an upgrade to a superior room, which overlooked the back and much quieter part of the hotel. It cost me 10 euro, per night , which I didn't mind paying. There is not much nightlife around the hotel. Only 1 tea bag, per night, and no UHT, milk, for tea and coffee.

- The room was equipped with a TV, which was a nice touch for entertainment during my stay. - The bathroom was well-maintained and clean, providing a comfortable space. - The bed was very comfortable, allowing for a good night's sleep. - The hotel is located in a relatively central area of Prague, making it convenient for exploring the city. - The staff were friendly and accommodating, adding to the welcoming atmosphere of the hotel. - One downside was the breakfast hours, which were from 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM. This felt a bit too short, especially since many hotels offer breakfast until 10 or 11 AM. It's challenging for guests who prefer to relax and not rush in the morning, particularly when on vacation. - While the breakfast itself was decent, I felt there could be a bit more variety in the options available to cater to different tastes.

Friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Even had free beer in the reception (probably not something they do all the time). Would definitely stay again. Nothing. It was great

staf was one girl on sataf. very very helpful . besides that a glorified Hostel loud small room with nothing but a bed. was very clean. besides that wouldn't stay again

Very helpful staff, helped us with every question we had about the city. Excellent breakfast, hot water at all times and room temperature just perfect even when the temperature outside reached -5 degrees. It's the first time that I see a hotel charging “towels change €5”! Maybe it's just me, but that doesnt sound nice, especially when the rooms’ prices are normal and not low. It's not the amount, it's the mindset behind it. Also, just a recommendation that the breakfast could start a little bit later than 07:30 or last longer than 09:00, especially during the festive season where most people visit the city for leisure.

Honestly, an exceptional customer service and a wonderful staff. We arrived early to Prague and I had an important work meeting to take, so I decided to take my call at the hotel, and the staff assisted me with no problems and with total ease. The room was a very good size for the price, warm, and facilitated. They had all the amenities needed to assist your stay and keep you comfortable. The hotel was located strategically close to the center and public transport, a 10 minute walk takes you to the national museum and the state opera as well as the Prague train station. Out of all, the thing that stood out the most was the staff, each one of them was kind, attentive and remarkably hospitable. We enjoyed our stay at the royal court hotel, and I recommend it to anyone visiting Prague.
