The staff and management were not particularly friendly to an elderly couple, who had health issues due to the heat.

Close to all the tourist sights. Quiet location even though it’s located on a busy pedestrian street. Beautiful furniture. Tipping was automatically added to the bill. Be sure to o review your bill.

Very central No elevator, but we were ok. A bit loud… but it is the location.

Room in old house with beautiful painted ceiling and older furniture. Well located near 50 yards from the Charles Bridge. Staff helpful and friendly. No elevator is a challenge for seniors like us. No A/C can make uncomfortable in warms days as we have experienced. No noise protection windows (due to city regulations) make nights very noisy due to the 24/7 tourists movement around this area.

Location Stairs, no bellmen. 74 years old had to carry 6 bags up 5 flights of stairs. Bathroom was almost unusable

Perfect location! I don't think there is a comparable hotel closer to Charles Bridge! Very kind and helpful staff! Delicious breakfast! Clean room. As advertised. Got to leave our luggage on site for a few hours after check out. Staff at reception even made a point to give us a room overlooking the atrium (not Karlov street) to minimize noise - very thoughtful. The walls/floor are very thin - our upstairs neighbors stayed up later and woke up earlier than we did, and every single move they made resulted in VERY loud creaks in the floor. The neighbors were definitely being inappropriately loud, but it was exacerbated by the very thin floors/walls, so we could hear every single word and movement.

The hotel was clean, the breakfast was decent, and the location is excellent. The overall experience did not justify the price. The room had an unpleasant smell, and the old windows did not block the noise from outside. Another major issue was the lack of any clear notice that there is a nightclub downstairs, presented only as a bar, which created an uncomfortable atmosphere in the hotel. At reception, there was a young man and a woman. The young man was polite, professional, and spoke good English. The woman, however, was unfriendly, did not speak English, and handled a small payment issue in a rude and inappropriate manner.

This hotel is beautiful in design & the hotel is incredibly comfortable with everything you could ever want and need. However, it is on a very busy street right next to Charles Bridge which I think a lot of people would overlook, if you do choose to book, be aware that this is a high tourist area & there's a nightclub underneath the hotel meaning you will hear drunk people in the streets & the surrounding area is extremely loud. If you prefer a more quiet intimate area where you can be undisturbed I would book another hotel, but I really enjoyed my stay & the place itself despite this so it's worthwhile without the noise.

A really beautiful hotel with wonderful interior design. The ceiling are hand painted, the furniture is all carved wood. Feels like a fairy tale. The location is unbeatable, just steps away from Charles Bridge. Breakfast was sufficient. While this wasn't an issue for us, I could see how it could be noisy from the street if you have an exterior room. There isn't an elevator so bear that in mind if you have any mobility issue. The oddest thing is the recommended (yet mandatory) tips at check out. It's 200 czk a day and didn't seem like it was optional. They mask this as city fees (which are 100 czk a day) and hotel fees. We paid it and moved on but be prepared.

Check-in was easy & the two desk staffers were very accommodating. Excellent room. (No elevator.) Excellent location. Will return. Breakfast was fine, but the staff member responsible for maintaining the breakfast buffet failed to refill most of the options. She appeared not very interested in the guests.

Only problem was there was no elevator. Lobby on second floor so must be able to climb stairs. Luggage was a challenge. The room was large and bed was comfortable.

The walk up the stairs was a little daunting.

We traveled in December and heating was very poor at night. If you come to breakfast late you'll be able to find only leftovers at all the trays. There wasn't even water for drinking left. Poor sound isolation - we could hear every tiny sound from the room upstairs. Even though we had a wonderful time.

Staff were helpful and the breakfast was good. The club in the basement looked nice. Walls are thin as paper, you could hear everything around you, we could hear the zippers opening luggage in the room next door. We could hear conversations in all rooms around us. The shower was elevated 2 feet from the floor and was tough to get in and out of, plus the shower door did not keep water in. We were there in the winter and even though we had the radiators off we still had to open the windows to cool it down. It is a charming old building thus NO lift/elevator so you will have to haul all your luggages up the narrow stairs yourself and I believe they have 5 floors.

Very happy with the location and breakfast. The room was a little dark.

The location is phenomenal. You cannot get closer to the Charles Bridge than this. It's on this central street where you can walk to all the sites, and yet it somehow feels quiet. Just an awesome hotel. Front desk leaves at 7pm

Staff not friendly.

ask for rooms to the courtyard or away from the street (very loud until 3:30AM on the street). Should invest in soundproofing windows in front rooms. BIG pillows not my thing...
