Check-in was easy and efficient The Air Conditioning was insufficient to comfortably sleep at night. Opening the windows cooled the room down sufficiently but there was too much light and noise (all hours of the night) from the drunks to make this a viable option. The soap/body gel in the shower was empty when we arrived and was never refilled. We resorted to asking for bar soap. This was our 2nd time staying in Prague. Our first stay was very pleasant but we stayed further East from the river (east of the Powder Tower). By far, the number-one negative for us is that the area is over-touristed. Individuals would frequently come to a complete stop in the middle of the sidewalk to take photos or check their navigation. In many cases, groups of tourists would walk abreast, taking-up the entire sidewalk. I realize Hotel Bologna cannot control the behavior of tourists but my recommendation is to stay outside the city center and take the tram in order to limit exposure to this rude behavior as much as possible. As others have stated, the restaurants and shops in the area are marked-up to ridiculous tourist prices. Again, it is better to stay further outside the city center. tl;dr The area is heavily over-touristed. It is better to stay further away, in a neighborhood and avoid most of the nonsense.
