Staybridge Suites Portland by IHG

I asked to be put in a rm with no street noise and was told they had no problems. Put me along the front main and I absolutely heard cars, trucks and motorcycles. Had to wear ear plugs after the 1st night. Breakfast was just ok. Juices and coffee were good tho. Water pressure not good for long hair. Signed me up for program vs checking to see if I was already registered. Bed and pillow were very comfy. Gentleman at front nice. Lady who checked me in was a grump.

We stayed at the property for 3 nights, and not once did we get fresh towels or the beds made. I looked to see if there was a door hanger for that purpose, but I didn’t see anything. Aside from that, everything else was good.

The room was ready one hour after the check in hour, we loos time just waiting there in a one night reservation

The breakfast seemed to be dry or old. I came down to eat around 8am so I'm not sure that it should have been that way. The breakfast could have been fresher.

The guy on nightshift 4th of July was unfriendly and just 'there'. Was not very helpful when I asked a question.

They should clean the rooms more because I saw a roach outside the room!

We’ve used this hotel nearly every month in the last year. Recently, the night staff confirmed payment had cleared and our room was available at 7am after a 24 hr shift. When my husband arrived at 7:30, the day staff said they were fully booked and couldn’t accommodate him. However, I could see on Expedia that they had multiple rooms available. They indicated for $250 they could “find” a room even though we had already paid for. We won’t be staying at this facility ever again.

The pool was a nice amenity, the staff was polite and helpful. But the kitchenette pushed the experience over the top. We really enjoyed ourselves at this hotel.

Need another location at one of the islands.

The front desk staff went above and beyond! It was her last day and she still had the best customer service and kindness!

Loved our stay! Room was clean, receptionist was really caring, and the breakfast was amazing. Nothing to complain about. A highly recommended spot in Portland! Nothing.
