Our stay at Casa Três Palmeiras was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with such warmth and genuine care by the incredible owner, Dolly. Hearing her story—how she and her husband discovered this land on their honeymoon, dreamed of a life here, and turned that dream into reality—made our stay even more meaningful. You can feel that love and intention in every detail of the villa. Dolly and her sweet dog run this place with a level of heart and hospitality that is truly rare. The views of the ocean and cliffs are absolutely breathtaking—one of those places that makes you stop and just take it all in. We were there celebrating our 32nd anniversary and Dolly surprised us at breakfast with champagne, desserts, and flowers. It was such a thoughtful and touching gesture that we will never forget. She also arranged the best couples massage we have ever had and helped us secure a beautiful dinner reservation, making our entire experience seamless and special from start to finish. This was more than just a place to stay—it was an experience filled with heart, beauty, and unforgettable moments. Casa Três Palmeiras will forever hold a special place in our hearts as one of our favorite places we’ve ever stayed. Do not pass this place up—you truly will not regret it. Absolutely nothing!

We loved everything about this property - the wonderful owner, Dolly and her staff, the beautiful, convenient location and the property itself. Top notch. Nothing - everything was perfect.
-
We mistakenly double-booked our room & Booking.com charged us a two nights’ cancellation fee, which seems exorbitant.

Island of tranquility on the built-up coast

Very good
-
Situation away from busy towns Small number of guests Attention to detail Views Extra charges for breakfast - would feel more generous to just pay the amount within total accommodation charges

The warm welcome from Dollie and feeling like a real guest. The location and views are amazing, the breakfasts on the terrace and the feeling of being somewhere exclusive all made it feel very special.

We all loved Dollys place and had an absolutely magical stay! It is beautiful, extraordinarily well kept, peaceful and with Dolly always ready to help. The rooms were big and spacious, sunbeds great, towels for both pool and sea and with a view over the beach with the red cliff formations that we never godt tired of looking at. We hope to come back to this very special place ?

This property is nestled in an absolutely stunning location boasting a one-of-a-kind view that will take your breath away! With the beach only a stone's throw away, the convenience is unmatched. The villa's owner is a true gem, meticulously tending to every detail to ensure a top-notch experience with the phenomenal breakfast served with flawless precision, setting a new standard far above a typical B&B morning spread. I will definitely go back

The whole experience was amazing ranging from the host, Dolly and her staff. Dolly and staff were attentive without being intrusive. The breakfast is eaten looking out over the sea and the views are amazing. Couple of minutes walk to the beach . And 5 mins other direction to restaurants. I would love to return Leaving!

The villa is situated in a stunning location with quick access to the beach. It boasts a lovely terrace that overlooks the ocean. For breakfast, tables are set up at the edge of the terrace, offering incredible ocean views. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped. We arrived at the hotel extremely tired after our flight and a 3-hour drive. The check-in process took 50 minutes, which was exhausting. The host explained everything at a leisurely pace and was frequently interrupted by phone calls. The house has certain rules that guests are expected to adhere to, such as not wetting the mattresses of the pool chairs, which felt unnecessarily strict. There are dogs on the property that barked during the night and in the early morning, disturbing our sleep. We resorted to using earplugs. The complimentary portion of the breakfast is basic, consisting mainly of bread and sugary items. To include healthier options like eggs, muesli, or fruits, there's an additional charge. This approach was surprising to us. For additional requests, we had to follow-up multiple times (for example, I struggled for 2 days to obtain extra pillows). Given what we paid, we expected the comforts and liberties typically associated with hotels, which we did not feel we received.

This guest house is beautiful, extremely well located, amazing views, very good price x quality relation, the rooms are great, awesome breakfast by the pool, it's a quiet and peaceful place to relax. Dolly, the owner, is a very nice Brazilian old lady who welcomed us and gave us good tips. She speaks many languages and helped us in the reservation. Totally well recommended place! I liked everything.

it’s a unique building right on the edge of a cliff with amazing views, the owner Dolly’s attention to detail is 2nd to none, she’s 90yrs old and cooks a lovely breakfast, even the china has the property imprinted. if you don’t have a car it’s a short walk across the cliff walkway to some bars and restaurants which could be a little awkward for the elderly and dark at night, however all beautiful and stunning scenery ?

We had a most relaxing and happy stay at Casa Três Palmeiras. The property is a hidden gem along the outskirts of Portimao where you can enjoy complete peace and privacy whilst still being able to walk to local restaurants, beaches and hiking tracks. The entire resort is very well maintained, staffed and cared for. It's very tempting to stay by the pool all day on your private lounge chairs but the coast line has so much to offer as well.

The beds were very hard and uncomfortable. Our only complaint.

The location of this BnB is beautiful. The fact that it is built on a cliff right over the sea, is lovely. Unfortunately, that is the only redeeming feature. A horrible experience we will not soon forget! When we arrived and parked the car, there was a woman of about 90 waiting in the parking lot for us, obviously not to help with luggage. The description of the room was misleading, and we were disappointed to pass every sea view room, to arrive at a room in the back (The "Garden Room.") which faced what was essentially an empty, ill tended, overgrown lot. The door and all the windows were wide open when we arrived and there was a definite smell of linseed oil. Apparently, all the wood in the place, including the common area, is treated with linseed oil. The smell was not good, but we were tired from the trip, it was evening and we were hungry, etc., so we settled in, hoping the smell, which had become terribly strong, would dissipate. Windows needed to be closed against mosquitos and when we woke the next morning, we were nauseous, head achy, with the taste of the oil on our tongues. The beds (twins pushed together) were shocking! Layers of some old material covering ancient mattresses. We informed the woman, who apparently is the mother of the owner, that we must leave and explained why. She put my husband on the phone with her son, who sounded reasonable, except for the fact that he asked me not to go through American Express for the refund. He said we should trust him to take our bank account number and he would deposit the refund directly, when he received it from Booking.com. I refused, of course, disputed the payment with American Express, and was ultimately reimbursed. All this, after the woman became abusive to me. A little added information: the pool is advertised as "heated." The woman explained that there is "no point heating it because it is not covered at night, so all the heat is lost." What ever happened to Truth in Advertising?
