The owner, Mario, is extremely kind and always ready to help. The building is amazing.

The building is really lovely as such and could be a wonderful option if it were managed with a bit more enthusiasm. Pollica is a very beautiful place. The b&b was difficult to find as the name on Booking is different from the actual name on the door and the signs in the village. We had to wait for some time before somebody arrived to let us in. We stayed for five nights but the room was not cleaned during that time. We received one additional set of towels after a couple of days. There were no amenities in the toilet, not even soap... The room is quite dark, but that's because of the thick walls. Also, there's practically no sound isolation between rooms. No breakfast except for coffee and a croissant at nearby bar. At checkout time there was nobody to hand in the keys. I know this place is at the cheaper end of options in the area, but still would have expected more.
