Plaka Hotel I

Quite complicated to arrive to the hotel, you have to go to a camping first. It’s confusing and they don’t inform you of that. The organization was a bit rough, they tried to give us another room of less quality and when we went to the correct one it hadn’t been cleaned. Although once we talked to the owner he took care of everything.

The combination of peace and comfort made the hotel special. The room was well prepared, the bed cozy, and the environment calm. It was exactly what I wanted during my trip.

Feels like the staff have never stepped into another hotel in their lives and have no reference. Breakfast is below average, you can do without it. They could have provided a basic text/guide on how to get to the hotel, like other hosts who care about their guests would.

I loved Naxos and staying in Plaka instead of the main city was the best decision, we rented a car to move around the island and visit the villages. Honestly, the communication with the staff and the owner was awful. We asked two times to not have our room cleaned, as our things were organized in a way we didn’t wanted to be changed, and they didn’t listened to us. We came back to all of our stuff on top of our suitcases, everything moved from places. The next day when we complained about that and asked again that we didn’t wanted room service they asked us why and didn’t even apologize. For the same price you can get better places in plaka near the beach.

The location was ideal, close to the beach and some good tavernas. The room was simple but had everything I needed. I had a lovely time and left feeling refreshed.

This was my second time staying here, and I’m already planning the third. The rooms are comfortable and simple, but that’s all you need when you’re surrounded by such beauty. What keeps bringing me back is the atmosphere—it’s quiet, welcoming, and genuinely peaceful. The owners are some of the kindest people I’ve met, always happy to help without being intrusive. It’s rare these days to find places that still offer this kind of sincerity.

The staff were incredibly kind and generous with their time. They helped us rent a car, suggested hidden beaches, and even brought us fresh fruit from their garden. Thank you for making our holiday special!
