Almiriki Naxos Beachside Living

Great week-long stay! We had the triple room that had modern furnishings with hot tub - the terrace overlooking Plaka Beach with a view towards Paros was top-notch! The daily room refresh and welcome wine and juice was a nice touch! The family-run staff that was so friendly (especially Elisabeth and her mother)! The included sunbeds across the road was a major plus! Loved having a market and restaurant onsite - must do the beach dinner! Thank you!!

The location was wonderful, with a beautiful beach right across the road, two great restaurants on either side, and a market with anything you’d need just steps away. Super easy free parking. Beds/umbrellas at the beach were free because we were guests of the hotel. The receptionist was very friendly and gave us lots of information. We were on our honeymoon, and when our sailing trip was canceled due to high winds, she helped arrange a masseuse to come to our room to give us massages. The room was large and very nice, with an incredible balcony, hot tub, and view. After staying in Chora town for a few nights (which was also great!), we so enjoyed the slow, peaceful pace of life at Plaka beach. I would highly recommend staying here, the hotel and its neighborhood are a very chill, extremely pleasant, and beautiful little oasis on the coast of Naxos. The breakfast left a little to be desired. But that is a very small thing. Overall our stay at Almiriki was wonderful and I’d highly recommend it!

This place is AMAZING. It was my second visit to this hotel, but not my last. I went the first time in 2022 when it was called Nikos and Maria (the original owners and still the name of the onsite restaurant), but Nikos died, and now their son, another Nikos, and daughter-in-law Kiki have done an amazing reno on an already wonderful property, changed the name to Almiriki, and hired a fantastic front-desk woman named Korina who is going to greet you so warmly you will feel like family. She met us at the door with the iconic Kitron aperitif and a snack of kerassi (whole cherries suspended in a jelly syrup and served as a gesture of hospitality). I had been to the island before but my travel partner had not, so Korina pulled out a map and went through it with us, telling us all the best things to do and best places to eat. She was so thorough. She arranged a good price for a rental car for us, told us what roads to avoid, where to park, and even what vehicles NOT to rent (I wanted an off road dune buggy for touring the island and she was like, “no- please no. Not good for narrow mountain roads with steep drops.” We listens and she was right! Even though I’d previously been to the island before, Korina’s help was something I didn’t have the first time, and it was so valuable. Now let me tell you about the rooms! Omg. So great! We had two seaside suites - both were on the second floor with private lanais facing the sea. The beach is across the street. Nothing is built on the beach on this stretch of the Plaka, so this is as close as you can get, and it’s AMAZING. They have built two boardwalks - one in front of the hotel and the other in front of the resto - so you can avoid burning your feet in the hot sand. The chaise lounges are very comfortable, beach towels are provided, and the big heavy umbrellas provide all the shade you need, and are super sturdy, so there is no fear that your umbrella will blow away on a windy day.

If you are looking for a quiet area on the beach, this is a good apartment on Naxos. The beach could not have been closer, includes chairs and umbrella. Great sunset view every day! Sunrise was dramatic and beautiful. Enjoyed our private sunporch viewing area! The staff was very helpful and always available to us. Breakfast was included and available next door with outdoor views of beach- beautiful and relaxing. Public bus stops occasionally. We had a car rental with free parking in front of apartment. Excellent lunch and dinner choices were available daily. Very clean rooms with kitchenette. A little store is attached to hotel incase you forgot anything! We feel the apartment was missing a table and 2 chairs for preparing food or eating! Also needs a very small night table, bedside. The only other thing we missed was an English channel on TV to get world news!

Nice, very modern and well cared-for property, with extremely accommodating staff. Although the property is wonderfully located for a beach holiday, it is a little remote from Naxos Chora. There is a regular bus service around every 30 minutes but, when we stayed there, timing was very erratic

Where do I start—the images online are NOT accurate. No exaggeration, I was shocked when I arrived. My room was dated, there were issues with drainage in our bathroom sink and one hot night the AC did not turn on. This property is very, very expensive for Naxos as they appear to be ‘luxury’. It is truly a one star hotel with basic amenities. Beyond the beach accommodations, this hotel offers nothing else.

Not necessarily something I disliked but if you're planning to stay here, you should know that the reception isn't open 24 hours. They're only open from 8am to 8pm.

Prime Location, spacious and clean condo, nice and modern decor, incredible beach and warm welcome.

Location to the beach, however very dusty right on the dirt road. The website is very deceiving. Before booking check the room you will be staying in. Ours was nothing like what is portrayed on the website. Room was very dark and dated. This property and our room were very run down and lacked maintenance. Needs a completed overhaul. Staff not friendly or accommodating at all. So many other nice places to stay in the area. I would not stay here again.

The stay was very good! It is right opposite to the one of the best beaches in Naxos, Plaka. The breakfast was very good. The restaurant food was also good. Lots of good restaurants around. Perfect for a relaxing holiday. We were welcomed with a nice local drink as well, Masticha. Everyone greeted us well. We checked out one hour late and they didn't bother us at all, very accommodating. Overall, highly recommended for a home visiting Naxos. The room cleaning service would have been a bit better.

This place is amazing if you get the rooms in front of the beach upstair, with the jacuzzi and big terrace. My room was 11, and it was amazing, good decoration, nice bed, big bathroom, living room, really nice. Kiki and their staff, all of them like a big family working together for have a beautiful place for us, was inspired ❤️✨. I loved this place, for sure if sine day I have the opportunity to come back, I will come again to the same room lol! The restaurant of the family just next the room, is amazing!! Local food made with love. And the mini market downstair have everything you need. There is an ATM too , and the bus stop. The beach have sun beds for the guest, thanks for that, and the beach is so quiet and beautiful for swimming safe. The things I suggest improve is: the breakfast, I think us better get a greek experience or more options, because get bored about it. The tomato can be better I think.. ? And the other think make me feel a bit upset was the noise during the day, started early in the morning until late, I think they are repairing some rooms before the high season, but was really annoying for me, because I wanted sleep until late, and spend quiet time in my room after the beach. I suggest do this with not guest at all in the building because is not fair stay in a place for holidays and cant sleep until late or stay quiet ???

We stayed in the king suite with jacuzzi and garden view for two nights as part of our honeymoon trip, and we are very happy with our stay! The room was recently renovated, and it was located steps from the most beautiful beach, where there are free beds for use. There is a bus stop right in front of the property, which takes you to downtown (by the port) for only 2.50 euro. You order breakfast the evening before, and they deliver right to your room at whatever time you request. The outdoor jacuzzi added a nice touch for relaxing and stargazing in the evening. Our host was very friendly and helped us to set up a taxi for our departure. Definitely recommended staying here! Did not dislike anything about the property.
