The room was spacious, the bed and mattress were very comfortable, and the cleanliness was excellent. However, the room was not soundproof enough, and noise from outside or neighboring rooms could sometimes be heard. None.

Everything exceeded our expectations. The hotel was spotless, beautifully designed, and felt luxurious throughout. The room was comfortable, modern, and very well maintained. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The breakfast was absolutely delicious with a great variety of fresh, high-quality food—it was one of the highlights of our stay. The location was also perfect for exploring George Town. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Honestly, nothing. Everything was exceptional, and we had a fantastic experience from check-in to check-out.

Everything. Great new facility with wonderful staff and breakfast. Rooftop pool with a view is excellent for relaxing. It gets my top 10 during my 13 stays around Malaysia. No complaints. Great stay.

The hotel was nice and the room was great for the price. The staff were nice and helpful. The location wasn’t bad, but most of the iconic things about Penang is a bit of a walk or you need to get a Grab for convenience

Everything was perfect. We have stayed at 13 different hotels and Fifth Avenue was the tops. Everything is new and everyone is polite and helpful. The breackfast is out of this world and can't be beaten. My top pick for Penang, George Town.

Lovely hotel and great amenities. Check in was a little slow. One staff member just seem to be doing something behind her counter and not serving customers even when it got busy. Front desk always had to wait, even when I was the only person waiting.

1.Prime Location & Value: A 5–15 minute walk to major attractions and hawker centers, featuring surprisingly spacious rooms for the price and location. 2. EV Friendly: On-site charging available via the Quick Charge app. 3.Ample Parking: Plenty of parking spots, though the entrance driveway is narrow due to the older building layout. Subpar Service: Falls short of true 5-star standards (unlike Marriott or Accor) from the moment you arrive. Overall, the staff requires better training. Unprofessional Front Desk: One of the staffs was dishonest about basic amenities. I was initially told that they had no razors and had to argue repeatedly before they finally agreed to send one up. Flawed Room Design: The enclosed pantry lacks air conditioning, and opening the door to cool it triggers a sensor that cuts off the main room's AC. It feels like an unusable space designed solely to inflate the room's square footage and price.

Friendly and personable staff; spacious facilities. It is not convenient to walk to the historic streets (I.e., Love Lane) but we found new discoveries in the vicinity of the hotel.
