The clean & comfortable room despite old hotel, easily accessible. I like the bench to put our luggage & sruff on. Aircon system worked well. Friendly & helpful staff at reception with clear instruction. Checkin was a breeze. convenient parking at the back. Great location, close to all amenities & tourist attractions. Will return in future The mattress was a bit too stiff. Maybe due to old age. But still manageable.

One of the best things about Hotel Malaysia Penang was its excellent location. It is situated very close to many happening places, making it easy to explore the city without spending too much time or money on transport. Several popular attractions are within walking distance, which is very convenient for tourists. The hotel is also located near a bus stop, making public transportation easily accessible for getting around Penang. This made sightseeing smooth and stress-free. Overall, the location greatly enhanced the travel experience and made the stay more enjoyable and efficient. While the stay was generally comfortable, one downside was the lack of basic toiletries in the room. For a hotel of this standard, it would have been more convenient if essentials like toothbrushes, toothpaste, and other toiletries were provided. Guests usually expect these small but important amenities, especially when traveling light. Having to arrange or purchase them separately can be slightly inconvenient after a long journey. Adding these simple items would significantly improve the overall guest experience and make the stay more comfortable and hassle-free.

Nice view at the cafe during the breakfast experience. Ample space in the room for our family. We experienced being locked outside as the door was not functioning. Luckily, the housekeeping staff was nearby and helped us out. They should repair the door as this is not the 1st time a guest has been locked outside for the same room.

I booked a sea-view room for my mom and she absolutely loved the view; the view made it worth whatever extra price she had to pay. There was no breakfast included with the room but there is a restaurant inside the hotel which is quite convenient for a lazy morning. The room service is top notch, you don.t need to call or anything: you can just hang the door card and they will clean your room while you're outside. Overall service was great and the room itself was moderately spacious and lovely to stay in. Would definitely stay here and book through the page again Nothing was disappointing about the place. I did not take the city view room as it just did not seem worth it, just pay a little extra and get the sea view room. Everything and all the services are already at a 8/10 level, only thing they can do is upgrade overall quality to a 9/10, maybe offer extra services like swimming pools and gyms and added breakfast with rooms. But no specific complains
