Grand Palms Spa & Golf Resort

When it comes to having a microwave and mini fridge, it was a hit or miss. My first visit I had a fridge but no microwave. The second visit I had a microwave next to tv but no fridge. I recommend bringing a cooler. Overall, I still give 5/5 stars!! Highly recommended and yeah, we going back soon. :)

A quick stay for a football game led us the Grand Palms. So we’re sure that back in the day this was a stand out as a destination. That being said it’s clearly fallen from grace. It’s sadly run down and outdated. The pluses were our bed was extremely comfortable, the room was clean and the air-conditioning was great which was a surprising relief. Those were the bright spots. We were told by the very helpful and friendly Patricia at the front desk that most likely this location would be closing to undergo a complete overhaul and renovation. The pool was not usable. The phone in the room did not work. And there is no restaurant because the dining room was deemed unsafe. People were golfing so there is still some life there. Just know it feels like a motel not a hotel. It is no resort nor spa but maybe it will resume its status again one day.

The staff was absolutely incredible. So friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfy. Older buildings but we will definitely stay there again!

Horrible experience

Very professional and I felt safe and comfortable

This is a very old property. The rooms and everything in it is dated. The TV only had a few channels that worked. I was told they were having connectivity issues. The phone in the room was for show as it didn't work either. The maintenance man said none of the the room phones worked and they are aware. The grounds are poorly lit at night and that raised a concern to me because they don't hire security. Free breakfast, yeah right! No dining room. A converted room with fruit, bagels and coffee. Seating was next door in another converted room. Remember, you get what you pay for!!

Room was big and priced well just toilet would t flush properly and I would have to remove lid and mess with the flap and room didn’t come with do not disturb sign so house keeping would constantly come which is fine but just wish I had the sign some days

Need better maintenance and cleaning.

There was no restaurant on site, which made meals difficult, and the golf attendant was not helpful at all. The entire place had a noticeable smell of smoke, which made the stay even more uncomfortable. The one bright spot was Patricia Williams at the front desk. She was absolutely amazing—warm, patient, and genuinely tried her best to accommodate me despite the circumstances. Her kindness was the only redeeming part of my stay.

Staff was beyond helpfull. Room was big and clean. Property is huge. Alittle dated but clean and thats is what matters to me. Pool was beautiful. Walking distance to Whole Foods.

Overall it was a good experience.
