Odéon Hôtel

We have stayed here many times. We love the location and the staff is very friendly. It’s an older hotel so a bit worn but very comfortable and pleasant. In past years the hotel would have water and snacks in the lobby after breakfast. They stopped doing that a couple of years ago and we miss a nice glass of water before going to our rooms.

Size of room

Our only complaint is that the room was quite small, which we were warned about from previous reviews. We stayed for 4 days and any longer I think my wife would have went back to the states without me ;) Also the air conditioning did not work as well as we would have hoped especially with the current heat wave so sleeping at night was very difficult. Otherwise this place would have been perfect

Close to many sights. Cute neighborhood! Room is small ..just a king bed for a double deluxe room. Bathroom was good size too.

The staff was excellent. Hotel was nicely situated. It was clean and very agreeable. The hotel cannot control the weather. It was hot one evening. But, really, you’re in Paris. So it was fine.

The staff was exceptionally good and helpful. The AC worked well on the hottest day in years. The breakfast was exceptional. I thought it was expensive

The rooms were just a bed and bathroom. Not any space for anything else.

Breakfast was very good with eggs, bacon/sausage, cheeses, fruit, bread, pastries, and cereal. The best part was the location. It is very central for exploring the left bank. Metro stop is close by, as well as many restaurants. As always in Paris, the room could have been larger. But it was okay and what we expected.

The hotel is very classy with a Parisien charm located in a prime location in Paris. It is in a safe area in the district surrrounded by cafes and restaurants. The reception and staff were great. They were very accommodating, courteous and helpful. Highest commendation to Nelson and another receptionist who provided excellent service to our family. The rooms were a tad small but very nice and comfortable. All amenities you needed were provided for. The elevator is a bit small but it is understandable considering it is a boutique hotel in the middle of Paris. It is still a 10/10 for us regardless.

Great location! Helpful staff 24/7. Clean and updated. Room was a little small, but comfortable.

Convenient to places I wanted to see The management

The location was wonderful. It was close to many shops, cafes and restaurants. It was an easy commute to many of the iconic Paris sites. Our room had a view of the top portion of the Effiel Tower, which was a wonderful bonus. The breakfast was very good. The staff were very pleasant. I wish I could remember everyone's names but I do remember Jerome. He was so friendly and professional. The room was well tended to and adequate. Very pleasant experience. We had limited counter space and places to hang things like clothes, coats, etc. It is a rather small room but perhaps a counter that is able to be folded up could be added? It would also be helpful to have more hooks in the bathroom.

Location is excellent. Rooms are not huge but very comfortable and fully equipped with typical Parisian decor. Bathrooms are spacious and plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Nothing

The location was close enough to walk to many tourist sites.

Tight room

The only thing is that this particular room (#61) was quite small for the bed size, even by typical European standards (I am German, we have traveled very extensively in Europe, and we get it about room size in Europe being smaller). But with our suitcases on the folding racks, I had about 6" at the end of the bed to navigate my way out. We used the small desk chair as a 2nd night stand.
