Le Meurice - Dorchester Collection
About Le Meurice - Dorchester Collection
Le Meurice stands at the heart of Paris, carrying nearly two centuries of French cultural life within its walls. Overlooking the Tuileries Garden, it remains a house where creativity and intellect feel entirely at home. Since 1835, this address has welcomed those who shape ideas and influence culture. Salvador Dalí made it his Paris residence for many years, receiving guests each afternoon in a ritual that became part of the hotel’s legend. That spirit of artistic presence and intellectual exchange continues today, woven into the life of the house. Art is selected with discernment and delight. Gastronomy reflects the discipline and imagination of French excellence. Craftsmanship, rooted in ateliers across the country, finds contemporary expression in rooms composed with clarity and proportion. Cultural authority is carried with composure. Heritage guides the present, insightfully informing partnerships and programing. Guests sense depth and credibility in the atmosphere, supported by knowledge, taste and quiet confidence. Conversation shapes daily life at Le Meurice. From morning coffee overlooking the gardens to evenings that stretch gently across the table, the house encourages exchange, curiosity and connection. Service is guided by attentiveness and warmth, creating an environment where guests feel recognized and understood. Relationships form naturally here, grounded in respect and genuine interest. Light moves through grand salons and across gilded detail, bringing warmth and energy to classical spaces. There is radiance in the proportions, in the wit that surfaces at the right moment, and in the ease with which grandeur is expressed. The atmosphere feels uplifting and deeply lived, shaped as much by the people within it as by the architecture itself. Le Meurice remains what it has long been: a hotel of artists and thinkers, where culture continues to evolve, conversation carries meaning and French heritage shapes a way of life defined by clarity, warmth and presence.

Amazing hotel, room and service! Nothing to complain at all. Thank you and hope to be back soon.

Always was like a dream to stay here, BUT i think its overrated, nothing special for such a rate for a night Firstly they give us the worst room of the end of the floor, saying that it is fashion week Then “upgraded” us to another room And every 1 hour we were receiving Flowers, chocolates

It’s nice but not worth the value nice Uber can’t stop in front of it… it wasn’t nice enough for the value … horrible gym and spa

Great location, friendly staff. Rooms are outdated. Needs a facelift in certain respects compared to other 5 star hotels in the area.

Nice breakfast Very old property, old doors, windows, stains on the marble. Doesn’t worth the price unfortunately. Spend same amount somewhere else. Street is very busy as well.

This is one of those nice places where you don't need to ask for anything: your wishes are fulfilled before being uttered. Nothing

Front desk staff went out of their way to make our stay special from pre-arrival to checkout. Room was a nice size and very comfortable. Big bathroom and comfy bed. Location is superb, near the louvre, the gardens and only a short walk to cross the river. Gym was small, no pool, spa felt like a bit of an afterthought

Absolutely everything. Straight across the road from the Tuileries & fantastic restaurant facilities with exceptionally polite & professional staff. I was able to get a tour of the opera house thanks to Marcos which I very much enjoyed as it is for groups only & I was a solo traveler & the icing on the cake was the staff @ the front desk to mail to my home addresses a painting which I bought in Montmartre. There was absolutely nothing to dislike.
