The proximity to metro, shops, cafes, restaurants etc. The area is well connected to public transport and fairly safe in my opinion. First time visitors could find it far from city center and main attractions. Very nice breakfast, we enjoyed it a lot and it allowed us to have a good start every day. Good selection of foods, for us it was more than enough. The staff was nice and helpful. Air conditioning functionning only On or Off. You could not modify the temperature, nor the fan power, which made it uncomfortable to use. It ran very cold and loud. The room got very hot in the middle of the night, so I usually woke up, started the air for 15-20 mins risking to wake up the entire room, waiting for the room to get reasonably cool to be able to go back to sleep again. Imagine a 8 night stay in a heatwave in Paris like this... The hotel should change this setup. I think it makes sense for them from a consumption standpoint, but for us as guests was simply ridiculous and made us uncomfortable.

Convenient location, 15 min walk to Gare de Montparnasse. Clean room, good air conditioning. We were assigned a ground-floor room which was affected by noise from the street and the lobby. The beds were fairly hard.

basic continental breakfast but all I needed too get my day started. A wide selection of items to choose from nothing

Room was clean Staff was friendly Nice location Humble and typical French breakfast There could be a bit more variety at breakfast.
-
Spacious room (especially for Paris), attentive and kind staff. Location perfect for Montparnasse train station, quiet neighbourhood.

"Le Fabe" is a small, family-owned and operated hotel, conveniently located close to Gare Montparnasse, and several Metro (subway) stations. Breakfast is the only meal served "in house". Nearby are several modestly-priced restaurants which serve good food. It is a short walk to Parety, and Gare Montparnasse, Metro stations which will take you to the tourist sights. Highly recommended to the budget-conscious traveller. Nothing springs to mind.

Quiet neighborhood, convenient to metro, and 20 minute walk to Montparnasse main streets. The staff is very helpful and rooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is just European basic with cereal, bread, pastries, fruit, and hard boiled eggs

Front desk was very friendly and helpful Didn’t love the pillows they provided, otherwise it was fine

Very nice hotel and helpful stuff. Thank you Pierre!

The staff was quite polite.
-
Small and cosy hotel room - the price might be too high, but it's Paris. A subway station, bakeries, grocery stores are nearby.

Good service, good staff. Breakfast is great.

Adrian at the front desk check in was super helpful and spoke great English as well as perfect French, very welcoming

room was clean, bathroom was good, small but for 2 persons that are a couple it was fine. Did not do breakfast, lots of places close by. Went to an italian place 2 blocks away that had great coffee and croissants. The Hotel gave me the name of 4 restaurants, 2 French, 1 Indian, 1 Creole. Tried all, everyone excellent. Nothing was all good, I would have had breakfast in the hotel but the coffee machine is not my thing Need the real deal in the morning.

Receptionists are awesome. ready to answer any question

Great room and bathroom Nice location People at the reception were very friendly Room was dusty
-
The only downside was that our room was on the ground floor next to the reception, which could be a bit noisy at night. It wasn’t too annoying, but it wasn’t completely quiet either. However, the room was clean and overall the stay was good value for money.
