I got in later than expected but there was always someone at the reception desk. Employees were very helpful and everyone spoke English (not that that is a requirement, but it was notable). My room was on an upper floor with a balcony facing the street and for me, the real star of the show was the neighborhood: gorgeous buildings and the Jardin du Luxembourg is very closeby. There is also an RER station less than 5 minutes walk, though I arrived by taxi and it was only about 15 minutes from Orly. I didn't partake in the breakfast, preferring to sit outside at a café and soak up the vibes. When I had a bit of cheese and prosecco in my room, the staff kindly assisted me with chilling the wine and providing a plate and knife. My stay was short, but I found the location very convenient to all the sites on the Left Bank. In the evenings I walked up the Quartier Latin to see some of the hubbub and jazz, but coming back to the 5th arrondisement was very calm, pleasant and safe, and only about 20-30 minutes on foot from the Île de la Cité etc. When it was time to leave, the staff helped me get a taxi and charge my phone as I waited for it to arrive. It was a great place to hang my hat for the weekend! For my purposes, this was a great choice. I am fortunate to have arrived just when the heat wave broke, so I didn't mind the small fan they provide. Perhaps a more robust fan would be advisable for hotter summers. A more appetizing breakfast selection might have tempted me to try it, but I did not plan to have breakfast there. Rooms are not large, but layout is logical and comfortable. Otherwise this was a great value and again, I loved the neighborhood.

We loved the location, it was perfect, Catherine was wonderful and very helpful. They have the best pillows i had the best sleep.

The building was charming. It didn’t have air conditioning and they provide a small fan that didn’t rotate, so, it was not helpful

Friendly staff, very well located. No air conditioning system. It was really hot inside the bedroom and difficult to sleep.

The booking says the rooms have air conditioning but THEY DO NOT! I specifically booked the hotel because of the air-conditioning advertised on Booking.com and was not able to sleep my entire time in Paris because it was 100F outside and the room had zero air circulation or cooling.
