Good location close to Gare du Nord Nothing

Excellent Excellent
-
very close to international train station no much facility avaialble inside the room. no kettle and cooffee/tea, no toiletries , broken hair dryer, only one electric socket. Thus, prepare yourself for most of the supplies.
-
Proximity to Gare du Nord and main transport hub. Three of us in separate rooms all had issues with the electronic keys. Took four to five attempts to work . Quite exasperating.
-
Very clean, great helpful friendly staff, excellent location for Montparnasse St. Nothing

The room was good, also the bath and the bed very cozy. The location is amazing. The staff is not always very friendly and service minded.

That you have a balcony. That they kept the access card everytime we left the building.

It was a ten minute walk from Gare du Nord, and directly opposite a bus stop, so transport around the city and in/out from the airport was really easy. Easy to walk everywhere too. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was a great size with a large bathroom, and everything was very clean and comfy. I think it was great for what we paid, and I was very happy with it. It is pretty basic, but as long as a rooms clean (which it was) and in a good location (which it was) then you cant go wrong.

Just the location The facilities

We had a very pleasant stay at the Metropol. The hotel is in a great, central location, making it easy to get around Paris and reach many attractions and transportation options. The room was very clean and comfortable, and we really appreciated receiving fresh, clean towels every day. The location was especially convenient for exploring the city, while still being a comfortable place to return to after a long day of sightseeing. Overall, we had a very nice stay and would be happy to recommend the Metropol to anyone looking for a clean, well-located hotel in Paris. N/A

This was a beautiful hotel to stay at. We originally booked for four nights but had to add an additional night due to flight delays and the staff were super helpful, even offering us the same room again. The room was very nice and comfortable. Having a balcony was amazing. It was in a good location with many small shops close by to purchase food and snacks late at night. There is also a great hair salon next door. It was only a short walk to Gare du Nord but not too close that it was noisy. Also having 24/7 reception made us feel extra safe. Thank you Hotel Metropol!

It’s great, proper old school Paris. If you want modern-everything, air con, gleaming stainless steel, chrome and glass then this is NOT for you. If you want a faded-glory, rather gritty vibe, retro wallpaper and antique furniture, big windows that open onto crumbling balconies with loud streets below (a mere few meters from Gare du Nord and a great bakery btw), and overall, great value for a convenient location, then this is your place. Theres a bed. A bathroom! A three way extension plug! Even a crappy old tv! And the oldest looking cupboard Ive ever seen. The main thing is it’s clean and the staff (24 hour reception) are friendly and attentive. Don’t be fussy. Get the Paris vibe. And the ancient lift is great, not dangerous, my kids were fascinated. Nothing!
