A 19th-century building a 2-minute walk from the Garden of Luxembourg, in the heart of the Latin Quarter, Elysa-Luxembourg has soundproof rooms decorated in a contemporary style. We stayed at the hotel Elysa-Luxembourg from July 26th to 30th, and the experience was excellent. Beyond the great location—just steps from the Luxembourg Gardens and a short walk to the Seine, with easy access to the metro and buses—the area is well-served by markets, bakeries, and restaurants. The room wasn't huge, but it was a decent size, especially by Parisian standards. We were particularly happy to have a balcony with a small table and chair for enjoying a glass of wine in the evening. The bed was extremely comfortable, the shower was hot, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The room was cleaned daily, and the coffee and tea sachets were restocked. The elevator is small but runs well, and the stairs are easy to climb when needed. At the reception, in addition to coffee and madeleines, we could refill our water bottles with chilled water—a lifesaver on hot days. But the highlight was the staff! From our initial contact at the time of booking, they were quick to answer our questions and accommodate our requests. Upon arrival, we were able to drop off our bags before check-in, allowing us to enjoy our first day worry-free. Every interaction was attentive and helpful; we want to express our sincere thanks to the hotel staff!

Excellent location next to the Luxembourg park, metro and bus stations. Very friendly stuff, we got our room much earlier than we expected

Conveniently close to the Sorbonne and Luxemburg Gardens. Quiet room with soundproofing and very good air conditioning.

Everything was fantastic! The hotel is very nice, clean, and in an excellent location. The area felt very safe, which was important to us. We were also very happy that they upgraded our room. All the staff were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. A special thank you to the staff member with the curly orange hair—she was especially kind and made our stay even better. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this hotel. Nothing. Everything was great and we were very satisfied with our stay.

Good "budget level" hotel (this is not luxury or even luxury adjacent) in an good location. Loved the 5th arrondissement where this hotel is located. Lots of restaurants, shops, beautiful park. We did find ourselves continually walking about 10-12 minutes closer to the river where the majority of those things are. If you don't mind the walk, which we didn't, this location is good. Others may want to choose another hotel. The hotel itself is quirky in terms of decor. We found the room size good (we had a corner room) where others have commented they were small. Bed was comfortable, A/C was good, WiFi was ok (not great). A smart TV to access Netflix and other platforms would have been great. Most of the staff was great, but a couple were not so great. Housekeeping could be improved. We ran out of toilet paper twice causing us to have to go down to the front desk to get more. Housekeeping took the empty shower gel bottle but didn't leave more so had to go down and get more. No water replenishment. Lots of dust accumulated at the AC vent. Things such as that. Nothing major regarding Housekeeping just annoyances that made the hotel feel very budget.

Lovely boutique hotel next to Jardin du Luxembourg with friendly staff. My room on the top floor had a balcony with a great view. All staff were friendly and helpful. I didn't order the breakfast, as there are cafes and patisseries in the neighborhood. The grand Pantheon and extraordinary Eglise Ste. Genevieve are nearby, as is the incredible Rue du Mouffetard walk Street. The elevator was a bit clugey but in the end worked Ok.
